Despite having the lion's share of possession during the match, Arsenal failed to take their chances and were made to pay by goals from Didier Drogba and Alex.
The result means that Arsenal now lie fourth in the league, 7 points behind leaders Chelsea.
Sagna is now calling on his team mates to learn from the defeat, and to be more efficient with their possession.
The Frenchman said: "I feel sad and I am disappointed as well because we played quite well.
