Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has praised his former side Arsenal ahead of the meeting between the two teams this weekend.
Adebayor has become an unpopular figure with Arsenal fans since leaving the club, and even more so since his controversial goal celebration in last season's 4-2 win for City.
But the Togolese striker believes Arsenal are playing great football at the moment, and will be a tougher test than they were last year at Eastlands.
He said: "They scored five in the Champions League and they're playing good football. Arsenal are good and a team that love to pass it around.
"Last season at home we found it quite easy. It won't be so easy this time, they have got Chamakh up front and we'll have to be careful."
Adebayor is not a regular at his new club, as he was at Arsenal, but the 26-year-old insists he doesn't mind the competition for places at Man City, and has done his best to stake his claim for a regular place with a hat-trick in the Europa League in midweek.
He said: "All of the players knew it was going to be very difficult during the season. Today you play, tomorrow you could be sitting on the bench or maybe not even in the squad. That's football; that's life! We are used to it.
"I'd been working hard in training to get my form back, a striker who's not scoring always needs confidence for his first goal, once it came the others came quite easily. I hope there's a lot more to come.
"We've got good players here, and I'm delighted to be part of what's going on."
