Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is hoping that Sunday's crucial win over Manchester City showed that Arsenal have improved their game and have become more 'ruthless'.
Manager Arsène Wenger's team have often been criticised in the press for overcomplicating attacks and attempting to pass the ball into the net, for not taking their chances early enough, allowing their opponents to regroup.
But Fabianski is hoping that the 3-0 win which saw Arsenal jump into second place behind leaders Chelsea is a sign of things to come, a sign of a more efficient Arsenal team.
He said: "We are more ruthless now. We are creating chances in every single game and it's not just about making them, it's about taking them.
"That's what we have to work on and keep like this.
"Everyone knows we are playing well, passing the ball really well and creating chances. We just have to score more goals.
"Now we are second and in touch with Chelsea.
"Within the team, there was always big belief, but it was still important to win a major game like this.
"City were trying to add a physical aspect to their game, but we stayed calm, managed to stick to our tactics, played our game and it paid off."
