Defender Bacary Sagna says that his team's away form is crucial if they are to sustain a strong title challenge against the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United.
We have traditionally been strong at the Emirates, losing just six of their 76 league games their over the past four seasons, in contrast to their away form, winning just eight out of nineteen last season.
However, victories at Manchester City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Blackburn Rovers and Everton over the last week mean they have now won four on the road already this season and boast the best away record in the Premier League.
And with Chelsea losing 3-0 at home to Sunderland, Arsenal are now just two points behind the league leaders after 13 games.
Sagna said: "We know if we want to be successful and competitive, we want to take maximum points away.
"That's what we have missed over the past few years but we know we can win games now, even against big opponents, so we just need to play game after game and give the maximum.
"The title race is very tight - we are very close to the top of the league and not far from the opponents.
"But we need to think about our team and not about the others, play our game and we will see the points total at the end."
