Winger Tomas Rosicky has conceded that he needs to improve his strike ratio if he is to secure a regular role within the team.
The Czech Republic international has said that he wants to be more involved with the team this season, having made most of his appearances from the substitute's bench.
He has been involved in all but three of the Gunners' fixtures this term, with lengthy run-outs awarded to him when selected.
His objective however, is to become one of the first names on manager Arsène Wenger's team sheet.
Rosicky said: "I would like to play more. I could imagine playing more even though I have been involved in a lot of fixtures.
"At the moment I am in the starting XI, then I come on as a substitute and then again in the starting line-up.
"I want to play in the big games - Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City - because in those games I have only come on as a sub.
"I must be realistic because the players I replace score goals. I have not scored in four months, so I can't be that surprised.
"At the moment I am half-satisfied. My performances are okay and I am healthy, but the goals worry me. I have a bad record."
