Manager Arsène Wenger admits that striker Marouane Chamakh could be suffering from fatigue, halfway through the season.
The Moroccan international started the season in scintillating form, but has since failed to score in his last three games.
Wenger believes that the workload of playing in the Premier League whilst featuring in the midweek Champions League games has taken its toll, and he must decide whether to rest the 27-year-old in tonight's game against Chelsea.
The Frenchman has options in Robin van Persie and Nicklas Bendtner, and could also be tempted to play Theo Walcott upfront.
Wenger said: "Marouane has given a lot. He has played a lot on his own up front. He is a bit tired at the moment.
"He's used to having a winter break in France at this stage of the season."
