Theo Walcott believes seven points from the last three games is a success for Arsenal, and thinks it could not have been achieved without rotating the squad a little.
After beating Chelsea so convincingly on Monday, a much-changed Arsenal side could only draw with Wigan on Wednesday, which saw Arsène Wenger criticised for his team selection.
The Gunners finished the week with another good win at Birmingham City, and Walcott is pleased with the team's recent form.
He said: "Making the changes worked again. If someone had said we'd get seven points in these three games I think we'd take that.
"It shows how important the squad is and how you have to rotate, especially in this busy period."
Walcott also had special praise for Samir Nasri, who struck is 13th goal of the season at St Andrews and was instrumental in Arsenal's performance.
He said: "He is brilliant. I love playing with him and he is a great guy as well.
"The lads were brilliant. It [Birmingham] is a tough place to go and they showed that against [Manchester] United. A lot of teams would have been happy with a draw here. But we were all on the ball."
