Defender Laurent Koscielny is urging his team mates to be efficient and ruthless in front of goal, with the season ending soon.
Koscielny says that whilst the fancy, attractive football is good, there has to be times when the focus should just be putting the ball into the back of the net.
The Frenchman said: "Sometimes we should play drab, ruthless football, pop one in and keep it tight at the back. 1-0 will win it. It's all about the three points.
"There are eight games left and if we win them we still have a chance of the title.
"We're disappointed but we have to remain united and go for the three points in every game and if we win, even 1-0 will do.
"Against Blackburn and Sunderland (recent 0-0 home draws) 1-0 would have been enough.
"Let's do it in one-nils if we need to.
"For any team it's the three points that matter and Arsenal are no different, whether you win them in spectacular fashion or in a more mundane manner, scoring once and killing the game off.
"Off course, that's a defender talking."
