Ramsey wants to end trophy draught

Midfielder Aaron Ramsey is already looking forward to next season as he seeks to end the club's trophy draught.

The Welshman made an impressive return to first team action after suffering a serious injury, and scored the only goal in the 1-0 win over champions Manchester United.

The 20-year-old is now aiming to strengthen his position in the club's starting eleven.

Ramsey said: "Obviously we haven't won anything for a long time so hopefully we can do that next season.

"And obviously it's a big season for me as well being my first full season since my injury, so hopefully I can have a good season as well."
