It appears Arsenal’s pursuit of Lars Bender will get even trickier as Barcelona has apparently entered the race. The 25 year old, along with twin brother Sven of Borussia Dortmund, is regarded as one of Europe’s hottest properties and one of the most coveted midfield hard men.

Wenger’s pursuit of Sami Khedira seems to have hit a wall after Madrid have revealed their intentions to keep the player. Fellow long time target Bender is being earmarked as a perfect replacement, but Barca has moved quickly to register an interest as well, according to reports.

Barca allowed Fabregas and Song to leave this summer, which leaves the injury prone Sergio Busquets as the only established holding midfielder at the club.

You don’t need me to tell you Arsenal’s midfield situation, with gooners crying out for a proven enforcer for some years now. Both clubs see Bender as their man and the player would fit the bill at either club. Leverkusen will be reluctant to part ways with the player but a potential bidding war (wishful thinking for Arsenal, I know) and could sway their hand. The player is estimated at around £19 million, a fee which could rise with both team vying for his signature.

For Arsenal’s sake, the club must move fast and definitively if they are to complete the deal. A firm offer must be placed to show their intention. Too many times Arsenal flirts with a player without registering any firm interest only for another club to tie up the deal under out noses!

Not this time we hope.

If I had knows some thing in my future I will not support arsenal in my life because a wicked, selfish person like Wenger now his thinking is downgrading at all he don’t know what heis doing right now.
