After a desperately unlucky result against West Brom at the weekend, the Gunners will have to pick themselves up for a must win Champions League tie against Dinamo Zagreb at the Emirates.

It’s been a long wait to avenge the heavy defeat in Munich that has seen us labelled all but out the competition, however, it’s not over just yet. Qualification is by no means in our hands, but it’s by no means impossible either. The Gunners have a reasonable and realistic route out of Group F if things go our way.

Here’s how we would qualify- all of these scenarios have to be matched to see Arsenal in the knock-out stages once again. If just one of these doesn’t take place, Arsenal are out!

Bayern Munich beat Olympiacos at the Allianz Arena

If Bayern have a performance even half as good as they did against us, they will have no trouble beating Olympiacos at home.

With the Greek club level on 9 points with them, Bayern will be well up for beating them to go through as group winners.

Arsenal beat Dinamo Zagreb at home

Doesn’t matter how we do it, we just need to win this one at the Emirates. There was something missing in the first game, and we just didn’t turn up in Zagreb.

We have to get a result here, and with hopefully some players back from injury and the home fans buzzing we can get three points to keep our hopes alive.

Arsenal beat Olympiakos in Greece by a two-goal margin

Could we do it? If the other two results go our way, and we go to Greece needing a two-goal margin to win, it would be one of the best comebacks in Champions League group stage history.

The thing is, it doesn’t sound that far-fetched to say we could go to Greece and outscore them 3-1 or 4-2 if we really go for it. If we play as well as we can, beating them by a 2-0 goal margin to qualify isn’t as a huge a mountain to climb as it sounds.

I have faith we can do it!

I believe Bayern Munich will finish out Olympiacos and then advancing will be in our hands. We need to have our top-notch squad out there playing vs the other teams in our round if we want to advance. Wenger has to act if we are playong a five star clubs to make sure we win these games and put these following players on the field: Ozil playing Center attacking midfield, Santi Cazorla plazing outer left, Alexis playing out right, and we need pace up front for both Olympiacos and Dinam Zagreb so we would put Walcott in as striker. Also we need to put Cech in at keeper to not let anything go past him like Ospina was. Speaking of defense we need Mertesacker and Kolsiencly in at center back to clear anything away from the box, and Bellerin at right back to go on counter attacks with pace. At left back I would put Nacho Monreal so he could put some crosses in and Santi Cazorla could be in the box running around and losing marks. So therefore GO ARSENAL!

And also, there is always the headache of who will be in center defensive mid. Ever since Coquelin is injured I would honestly put Flamini in to provide a nice shot if the defenders get to close to their own box, like his two shots vs Tottenham.

    Why g
Do we meet to win by two goals ? One goal would give us three points ( tied with them) and we woul be five goals ahead. We are now at -1 goals against and there at -4 goals against Not sure why 1-0 or just a win isn’t enough.

The reason behind Arsenal needing two win by 2 goals or by a score of 3-2, 4-3, etc is because the first tie breaker in the group stages is only between the teams level on points and the games they played against each other. That being said, if Arsenal win 1-0 or 2-1 when only looking at those two games the GD and goals scored would be the same. The 3rd tie breaker would be away goals which Olympiacos would win.
