As yesterday’s match dwindled to the final moments, cries of “boring, boring, Chelsea” could be heard from the Arsenal supporters at the Emirates. Mourinho’s men were successful in their efforts to frustrate Arsenal, sitting deep and clogging the space in the midfield for our creative players to roam.

Mourinho wouldn’t be Mourinho if he didn’t fire back, and once again aimed a subliminal barb at our manger Arsene Wenger.

“You know, I think boring is 10 years without a title. That’s very boring,” Mourinho said.

“You support the club and you’re waiting, waiting, waiting for so many years without a Premier League title, so that’s very boring.”

He continued:

“But maybe they were not singing to us. Maybe, when you want to win a game and you’re at home and you take your number nine (Olivier Giroud) off, maybe the home fans want more.”

“Maybe they want to play Giroud and Welbeck together up front to try to win the game.”

To be fair (as much I don’t want to be), he was provoked in this instance, however his remarks have gone too far as usual. Wenger had nothing to do with the chants from the fans, so to insult his decisions (in regards to the Giroud substitution) was unnecessary.

By now we gooners are sick of hearing of him, just as I am sick of writing about him. He isn’t worth a response gooners, class isn’t something you can teach. We will make him regret ever uttering those words come next season.
