Affectionately known as the Magpies, Newcastle has been the scene of much backdoor tomfoolery as owner Mike Ashley has been attempting to sell the club for a while without a buyer emerging. They were one of the key sides throughout most of the 1990s and 2000 era before being relegated in 2008.
