West Ham United have one of the widest supports in all of Britain and represent one of our top rivals despite not being a factor at league or cup level for quite some time. Popularly known as The Hammers, the east London side boast a strong blue-collar element to their support and three members of the 1966 World Cup winning side were West Ham players at the time. They were originally founded as Thames Ironworks back in 1895.
