No surprises to read that Joel Campbell is looking for a January exit from Arsenal, according to the Mirror.

Campbell has only made one start this season – the home defeat against Southampton in the Capital One Cup – along with three other substitute appearances (16 minutes against Everton, 21 versus Hull and 16 in the away game against Anderlecht).

After such an impressive World Cup with Costa Rica, Campbell was tipped to return to north London and finally make a mark. However, that hasn’t happened with the forward not even making the matchday squad for the 3-0 win over Burnley in the Premier League and the embarrassing 3-3 draw against Anderlecht in midweek.

With the return to fitness of Yaya Sanogo and Olivier Giroud (nearly two months ahead of schedule), you can’t really see the former Olympiakos-loanee getting much more game time.

A loan deal will probably be the most likely outcome for Campbell.

What do you think of the whole situation? Should Campbell be given more of a chance? Do you trust Arsene Wenger’s judgement? Is another loan deal really best for the forward?

Wenger shld use him, he has a lot to give but u cnt see it if his on d bench
Training pitch and challenging another team s diff. So pls give him a challenge and nt just 1 game or 16mins, let him play 2-3games. Then if his nt good enough we wuld see it.

I no longer trust Arsene’s judgment. This guy changed the game during his 21 mins in the other embarrassing draw vs hull the other week. If you watch the game back you’ll see the that the other players were actually using him as the go to guy to get moves started during his brief time on the pitch. Yaya sanogo isn’t even fit to be a ball boy. Makes me sick the type of players that get so much of wengers time that dont deserve it. Bendtner, Diaby, Sanogo to name a few while the likes of Carlos Vela, Joel Campbell, Lassana Diara are let go when they’re clearly far more talented than some of the crap we keep around season after season. Im sick of it. Wengers become an absolute laughing stock. He needs to man up and step down

Who knows what makes Wenger tik,Cambell had a good world cup no, chance him playing, Rosicky had a good season last year, cant get 15 mins this season. Yet still talks about Diarby as though he’s ready to play???And Giroud is really going to set the gunners on fire, its amazing how poor players get better and better while they are on the sick

He should start instead of Cazorla. Players like Campbell are the future when Rosicky, Poldi and Santi leave/retire.
