Major League Soccer enjoy a history of welcoming some of the biggest club sides on the planet to contest their annual MLS All-Star Game each and every summer.

This year it is the turn of Arsenal who will be heading to Avaya Stadium, the home of San Jose Earthquakes to take on the best the States has to offer in the 2016 MLS All-Star game in ten days’ time on July 28th 2016.

With the MLS All-Star’s having given as good as they’ve got down the years when defeating Tottenham Hotspur last year, Bayern Munich in 2014 and Chelsea in 2012, this will prove a tough assignment for Arsenal.

Already in the middle of their campaign of course, the fact many of their players are already up to pace usually counts in their favour when the European sides arrive in this star-studded showpiece.

While the likes of Didier Drogba, Sebastian Giovinco, Kaka and Andrea Pirlo need no introduction, we thought we’d fill you in on some of the other players making up the 26-man squad or roster as they like to refer to it Stateside!
