Transfer rumours are a frustrating thing, and yet us football fans can’t live without them; we love the drama, excitement and debate they bring up when discussing our beloved football team.

I say they’re frustrating due to the fact they’re so repetitive, with the internet age meaning rehashed titles for months on end. For example, we’ve been playing the ‘hokey cokey’ with Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira, Bayer Leverkusen’s Lars Bender, Sporting’s William Carvalho and Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin for what feels like an eternity.

It’s boring.

So, I got thinking about a few players I’d like Arsenal to (realistically) sign that haven’t even really been linked with a move to the Emirates, players that would excite us Gooners, players that will hopefully drum up some more topics for us to discuss rather than pretending that Khedira was ever going to come to the Emirates.

I’ve come to the conclusion that Arsene Wenger should definitely make a move for Andre Schurrle.

arenal’s right-hand side of the pitch needs no more work, as sanchez is a dominant force, midfield is up to scratch, and with Debuchy coming back soon, the right back position will be covered. Ideally, yes, Schurrle would be a key signing for us. The signing of Schurrle, would be great if it was alongside Sven Bender, we wouldn’t go down without a fighting fuck, against the likes of Chelsea and Man city (Man UTD not included as they are never going to be in for contention). With these signings we will have a chance at a runners up place in BPL.

    YOLO

Chelsea refused to loan 3rd choice striker Demba Ba last season to Arsenal. I don’t think they’ll be more inclined to let Schurrle go to Arsenal so unlikely to end well.

Ill be honest. As a long time Chelsea season ticket holder Ive seen great players come and go. And tho I dont think Schurrle is there yet I think he could be if given alot more play time. He impressed me more after the WC when he came back to training 2 full weeks before your Germans and the interview he gave the Chelsea TV was very emotional and inspirational.
Just like Willian hes got his strengths and weaknesses and what he lacks of Willians Brazillness he makes up for in his drive/crosses and hes got a good free kick.
Im really hoping that we do get Reus and with our newly sticking to FFP guidelines we dont buy players till we sell which means losing one/two of Salah/Willian and Schurrle. Salah well I wouldnt mind losing him tho hes done some fine work for us but its so close between the other 2 its a tough choice for me but as Schurrle isnt the best with his back to goal Id have to stick with Willian.
I dont like the idea but I see Schurrle adapting well with your lads and I see him playing good for you if you signed him.

We don’t need attackers or attacking midfielders. In fact, we could do with offloading a few. For example selling Poldi and loaning our Sanogo and Gnabry so we have space for a centreback and defensive midfielder. Our attack will be fine with Alexis, Walcott, Ox, Campbell, Welbz and Giroud.

Or attack I known for it’s poor finishes, mainly because of bad crosses that barely reach the striker. We need schurrle, and we should not have got rid of Nasri.
