Arsenal’s performance against Monaco was very disappointing for the home fans, especially the team’s defensive display. Every time we were caught out on the counterattack, and because of the away goals rule it will be a difficult task for the Gunner’s in the second-leg.

I’m not saying we have an impossible task, however, Monaco haven’t let in three goals at home since September 2011 and only six teams in European cup history have gone through after losing the first-leg.

One response to “Five things we learnt from Arsenal’s embarrassment”

Aside from the fact that number two totally contradicts itself, there was one clear thing I learnt from this game. There are a lot of naive Arsenal fans who seem to want to always judge Wenger and the team by a bad result without taking into account any of the positive results which occur far more often. I’ve learnt that too many people who would be lucky to get a job serving hot dogs at the Emirates actually think they know know how to manage the club.
