Well that didn’t take long! Inter Milan have worked out what a lazy so-and-so Lukas Podolski is.

When the former Bayern Munich forward left the Emirates in the January transfer window, there were a few disgruntled Gooners, however, I always felt that section of our fan base were just moaning for the sake of moaning about Arsene Wenger.

We all know what you get with Podolski; a match-winner, a great impact sub and a rifle of a shot. You get very little else in the way of work ethic, desire and helping out his full-backs.

Podolski has made eight appearances for the iconic Serie A outfit so far – seven starts – and as of yet, the World Cup winner has yet to find the back of the net and only completed 90-minutes three times.

Perhaps his time in Italy will act as a wake up call for the 29-year-old, with Podolski always quick to moan about his lack of playing time at Arsenal whilst totally disregarding any faults in his own game.

Anyway, here is what Roberto Mancini had to say on Podolski:

Driving Arsenal to success?
