That article is a bit of a 'conn' imo.

Anyone find it odd how despite the fact that Chelsea have rotated the least out of the top sides yet have never had many injuries all season? I don't think there was ever a period where they had more than 4 players injured. Us on the other hand had to deal with a period of 13 players injured near the start of the season, many of them amongst our best players too.
Either Chelsea have been extremely luck in the injury department or Jose has some sort of secret to keeping them fit. Clearly it's not rotation (http://wearehooligans.com/2015/03/26/decider-mourinho-rotate-chelsea-fc-squad/).

PEDs and injections I reckon. Rumours about it at Real for years, players hardly got injuries while he was there. Wenger's hinted before players he's bought have clearly been on them, wonder if he meant Özil??

i saw Manure lost today just what was i expected. Now we need to get alot of points before visiting Manure just to get the 2nd place sorted.

The relegation battle this season seems to be getting interesting.

Can't believe Hull look certain relegation bound, their team is good enough to be around Newcastle. Sunderland seems likely as well but their team actually play like League 1 material.

Yeah something isn't right about Chelsea. Mourinho has most definitely overplayed them, however, we're seeing no genuinely adverse effects. We've seen Wenger blitz the first half of a season only for fatigue and injuries to mount leaving us depleted and resulting in a significant comedown in terms of result.

Either Mourinho has told the players to stay at home in between games rather than train, or they're injecting a little something something. Some might label me a conspiracy theorist and I refute that because it would be totally naive to think that football runs clear of drugs. I saw Mourinho's full squad at the start of the season and thought it too small which would lead to problems later but here we are and still nothing.

Doesn't Mourinho makes the players likely to play do light training only between games? I remember someone here said that when bashing Wenger.

Anyway it feels like Chelsea have been really good with managing injuries for years now. Nothing to do with Mourinho, they must have a really "good" medical department.

Fact that Costa is aiming to comeback for our game says it all .

You'd be right nothing naive about it at all, I'd put many players rapid declines as related to PEDs. David Villa, original Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Sneijder had sudden rapid drops in production, quite suspicous. Reckon Ferguson pumped Rooney full of injections as well.

Here's a really eye-opening article.

I certainly hope Wenger's not as naive as to not have our players on recovery juice, but then again we are the most injured team in the league by far, so maybe he is.

"I can’t tell which clubs, I have received death threats. I was told that if I told certain things, my family and myself could have serious problems. There are sports against which you cannot go against, because they have access to very powerful legal means to defend themselves. And it could also cost the current chief of the sport his post."

That was a Fuentes quote.

Article also implies that, if I'm not mistaken, Barcelona were doping on their run to the CL final in 06 with the WC in mind

Zdenek Zeman was also made unemployable after he made accusations against Juventus which ended up being true. Went from being quite a reputable manager who had jobs at Lazio and Roma prior to his sacking.

Be prepared cause Chelsea will play the same game against us, as they did against United.

Revealing the truth in almost any situation has basically no benefit to you. Especially in work environments, or any place where money is a factor. No matter the motivation.

It's hardly a new claim, but I remember when watching Pep's Barca team and thinking time and time again what these players are doing is impossible. Not on a human level, as people like Djokovic and Nadal do more over a longer period of time, but their dietary discipline and fitness training blows away anything football players do in that regard.

Wasn't there, a few years ago, supposedly some big reveal about Spanish sport and doping in the pipe-line? What happened to that?

Mourinho said: "We prepared for it to be like this. It was the game we wanted and expected."

"It was difficult, but less than you think," he said. "Control their direct football to Marouane Fellaini and control the wingers from making crosses on the inside foot.

"When we know Wayne Rooney plays in midfield, we control his progression into the box. Control set-pieces and don't give away direct free-kicks as they have three specialists.

"Wait for a mistake and score a goal. We were able to make their important players disappear. Nobody saw them. They were in our pockets."

He's just given a handbook guide on how to beat long-ball ManU :D

Prefer how Arsenal did it anyway.

The thing that stood out for me there was "wait for a mistake and a score a goal".

I don't think there's a better team in world football at capitalising on mistakes. Rarely do they fail to punish one.

I read somewhere Jose's whole philosophy is about minimising mistakes as the team that makes the fewest more often than not wins.

They're ****ing robots.
