Arsenal-Mania's Fantasy Football 13/14

Gonna set up an AM league and I'll post the code here.

For those who don't know what it is - 100m in the bank, pick a squad of 15(2 GK, 5 DEF, 5 MID, 3 ST), one free transfer per week, one captain choice per week(vital to get this right as you get 2x his pts tally).

Important tips in my view:
- GK/DEF......pts are awarded for clean sheets, goals, assists. So crucial to get defenders with potential to chip in/those who play in teams who keep more clean sheets.
- MID/ST......again goals, assists are crucial.

Last year was my first season, finished 250k in the world(out of roughly 2.5m) which is fairly meh if you're half decent. The start killed me as I simply didn't know enough about the pts scoring system, bonus pts etc.

Aiming for Top 50k this year, and of course to hand out a few arse-whippings to the AM lads!

It would be best if you made one of your Chelsea players(assuming you have one) captain as they play two games in the first round.

There's talk that in the ultimate version you pick a squad of 25 and can only make transfers during the transfer window.

If true, that's a whole heap more realistic then the current set up where every user ends up with close to the same team after the first 5 rounds.

We can do both, I'd be open to the Ultimate one so long as it didn't cost too much.

Shouldn't matter if there isn't much attention, as long as we have at least ten and some good activity it'll be good enough.

I played for the first time last season and played quite well, 2081 points ranked at 85,492 and this is also taking into account I messed up some of the early weeks. Should be fun if we get some banter going.

We have 5 players in the league so far. Should get double figures.

I've already made a first draft for my squad but Bale is gone which changes things, frees up funds. Some good value in midfield I think.
