They got to the Final a couple of years back with Pogba,Vidal, Morata and Tevez

Allegri was in charge for that game, he took over earlier that season when Conte took over.

As for Conte's Juve, they were still solid defensively but their striking options consisted of Marti, Vucinic and Giovinco for the most part, in fact for a while they were dependent on Vidal for goals. He did bring in Llorente and Tevez to improve things but it was under Allegri where Juve became really good offensively as well as defensively.

The scenes if we won 4-0... **** man, that would be proper legendary
Would probably be the biggest win in the club's recent history. Think of the implications too: Sanchez would probably stay, and Europe would stop thinking of us as the CL whipping boys.

Sigh, will never happen though.:(

I think we came close on a couple of occasions in the second leg when we were basically already knocked out.
We play some good footy when there's no preassure.

League is very weak
Sevilla will beat Leicester away from home. Big gulf in class.

Watched some of the first half, the Sevilla football got the juices flowing again.

It's quite sad that we don't have a reputation of being hard to beat or considered beasts when we play at home. It's probably easier for teams to win at the Emirates against us than it is to us to win at our own ground.

2 goals in itself would have been a challenge, 4 goals is an actual dream. 4 goals in while we have to stop them from scoring... Yeah I'm going to watch the game for formalities. Players may want to play for the win but I doubt any of them (given their response to the 2nd goal against Bayern) truly believe this is possible.

Likely event is us playing the game of the season, recalling the invincibles to the mind with scintillating football, getting two first half goals, then a late third, pushing for a fourth. Brave effort but alas, 3-0 is not enough.

Having watched Monaco. It makes you wonder how they can play a 4 4 2 with two strikers with pace and have a wide player with defensive limitations , but a wand of a left foot playing on the right hand side.

Then you stop wondering and realise they have an absolute beast in CM. Forget Mbappe. Bakayoko is the player worth buying from Monaco. That type of player allows you to play a Wilshere in central midfield.

Napoli have been quite unlucky here, were doing well and looked to have a good chance, only requiring a single goal but a Sergio Ramos double snuffed out any such hopes.

Such a clutch player.

Unlucky Meertens for Napoli. His penalty shout was stronger than the one Lewa got off us. Napoli score that and level the tie and it's a different game. Gotta love Ramos though.

Actually, Fabinho is as valuable a Bakayoko in CM for ASM. IMO, City won because both players were spent by the 70th of their game. Jardim should have managed them better before the game. These guys are both beasts in CM.
To be fair, as well, both Lemar and Bernardo Silva work hard as wide players. They constantly track back.
