Wenger in his interview said he should have "shut up". He admits it was a pen for Burnley-after having seen it on tv. He apologised for his protest. When asked if he got physical with Anthony Taylor, Wenger said "no" repeatedly. All the time, he was smiling/smirking more out of mirth than embarrassment imo.

Actually I thought he looked genuinely embarrassed. He had the same tone of voice as he has when we lose.

In the upcoming games I'd like to see:

Cech
Bellerin Kos Mustafi Monreal
Coquelin Chamberlain
Ramsey Özil Iwobi
Alexis

If we play a run of matches with a Ramsey-Coquelin 2 man midfield the team and us may aswell pack up now!
Could always just sell Ox to a Everton or WestHam and buy a CM.

We don't have many available going into the vital period of the season & all pairs have limitations.

Have to disagree. No hint of depression in his voice. Just very deadpan. His voice wasn't low and he spoke quickly. No shrugging or dlumped slumped shoukders either. He may be marginally embarrassed but if he gets away with it,he's pulled a fast one and well done le boss.

I just looked at the tunnel video and I think Taylor touched Arsène's shoulder which might save him from a fine. Taylor had no right or touching him. It goes both ways thank God
Also apparently, according to the rules, Taylor had no business leaving his area to tell Wenger to leave the tunnel. That was up to the Arsenal Stewards to escort Wenger out. So, Things may not turn out too bad for Wenger after all.

Fair points. But it's 1-1 in the mistakes category and the onus was on the linesman who had a clear view. The officials got it right for us in the end just by being wrong all day lol.
That graphic they showed where Kos is offside is BS because at that point he is sprinting to get on side and the ball is yet to actually be released. If you stop the video in the next frame it would show a very different picture with Kos onside and the ball still leaving the feet of the passer. The media quite clearly has its own agenda as well.

Wenger said similar in his interview, but I haven't watched a replay. In that case, our win is FULLY deserved and we were hampered by poor officiating again.

Weird seeing people slamming Cech which was good throughout the match and did his job but nobody talking about Coquelin stupid foul.

I think players by now would have figured to cut out the insanely stupid fouls in their own pen area when their GK is better at stopping shots from open play than penalties.

Taylor thought Wenger was His b***h, turned out the other way,

Seriously, in real time I thought that Taylor over stepped the mark laying His hand on the boss.

Also thought there was enough cynical fouls against us in the first half to warrant an earlier yellow, hence the Xhaka frustration spilling over for the soft red. Stupid for doing it but where is the captain and why is He not in the ear of the ref every time like Your Rooneys or whomever do for United?

Imagine the amount of pissing being boiled after the late winner.

But enough about the hyperbole spouters on here, I'm sure it angered all our rivals fans too. ;)

I'm very happy... Been sober for 2 weeks but had my self 3 white ales... Went with my friend who is slowly getting more insane and insane because he smokes to much pot and we had a nice talk about the game and life!

It was a good win, the late pen gave my body a shock like only cocaine can do. I felt happy. It was justice for all the **** I have to watch United and Tottenham get away with almost every week.

Haven't had a captain like that since Fabregas, I think.

I thought both were fine. Can't expect a keeper to save a penalty and Cech was great in the game as you mentioned (even risking another head injury). Coq was unfortunate on the penalty I thought as he was just trying to get the ball away ASAP and didn't see the player running into his foot (whoever said he was trying to dribble needs an eye check). I think the penalty call was valid but I've seen them not given considering Coq did get the ball with the first touch and by the time he accidentally kicked the Burnley player, the ball was gone (Ramsey was closest even if Burnley player wasn't kicked).

As for Wenger's actions, I'm glad he did it. The game was at the Emirates, so when you are getting bullied at home by the refs you have to fight back otherwise they'll keep doing it in the future. The refs and the rest of the corrupt league need to know that Arsenal FC won't take it lying down.
