No they're not.

They've had 357 points in the last 4 seasons. Only City has had more with 358.

If anything they'll go down as the most underrated at some point once the context fades and the "trophies bro were they at" crowd starts combing Wikipedia for clickbait videos.

I know rivalry is a thing but they literally did everything right. Played brilliant attacking football, won the CL, the league and pushed the most doped team in history to unreal heights, all on a relatively small budget.

This has to be hugely respected considering who they were up against. A cheating oil state. Klopp should have won at least 2 titles, maybe even 3.

Regarding this season, they have been defensively leaky throughout the season. Only now teams are punishing them and not missing the chances they get against them. We have been saying all season their defence will be their undoing in the title race and so it has proved

They have made alot of decent sales to help tbh. Coutinho money spent well no?

Throughout the whole season, Liverpool was 2nd favourite (after 115 FC), to win the title.
Some people here are so eager to call Arteta bottler,

Should we call Klopp bottler?

Sales is a part of squad management. If someone is willing to pay a lot for a player it's because that player is seen as top quality, meaning you're removing quality from the squad and have to replace it. They've done really well in that regard for sure, but I don't really count spending like that against anyone. Net spend is a much better indicator as it shows how much money/quality you've directly added to the squad.

They're also fairly low in terms of wage spending. What Klopp has achieved is genuinely incredible.

They had 97 points one season and 98 points next. And in both seasons they finished second.
Unreal.

Interesting how Klopps Liverpool team fluctuates from season to season.

Since Klopp’s arrival, they’ve finished with 90+ points three times, 70-80 points twice, 60-70 points three times, and will likely finish this season on around 80 points.
