When Özil's having a great spell, or even just an adequate one--and they certainly exist, even if they're few and far between--this thread is awash with digs, slants and all sorts of graphs and stats, yet when he's way under par as he has been for a long time, the thread becomes an abomination and should be nuked.

Yes fresg legs came on. Very good subs from Emery.

But our form through Dec-Jan without Özil was worse than its now so Im drawing thr conclusion thay involving one of our best players more with the team has give us better results!

Pretty simple conclusion. A more likely piece of reasoning would be to guess that an "in the fold" Özil is making the team better.
