He has been a loyal player to the club, it's not his fault if Wonga has run him to the ground, we miss his creativeness in the team thats for sure.

The only way we get a "like for like" replacement for Cazorla is if we sign Verratti and that certainly isn't happening any time soon.

Rightly or wrongly, Cazorla was a key ingredient to our system going into the season (as well as going into last season) and his role was evident when we bounced back from the Liverpool defeat to have a good start to the season with him being a key man in the 3-0 win over Chelsea especially.

It's so sad, because even if we do get the balance right in midfield, the football will probably won't be like it is with Santi there acting as the extra playmaker to really help open up teams.

Cazorla gives us so much hope, look at last season we beat United 3-0 and Leicester 5-2 in the space of a few weeks and we were flying. We were thinking that surely with Chelsea struggling and City not at their best it was ours for the taking and then his injury was look the air being sucked out of a balloon.

We're a completely different animal with him in midfield.

We should have rotated Wilshere/Cazorla this season. Wilshere would have still got a good run of games and Cazorla wouldn't have been run into the ground when we knew he was frail.
Jack would have been such an integral player for us this season if he had stayed - assuming of course we could have kept him fit.

I don't think so. It's been repeated quite a few times in Jack's thread that 20 mins here and there weren't good enough for him to get back to full fitness and sharpness.

Cazorla makes the difference when you see slow starts like the Swansea game which is just another in a number of lackadasical Arsenal performances.
You have to establish a foothold in the game in midfield and our present midfield trio cannot do that way from home against decent teams imo.

amazing that after 50 million pounds we are still missing him
nevertheless i believe there is something special in ramsey-xhaka pairing.

A fit cazorla is fantastic.

Lets not kid ourselves though, we are not going to get a long period with him fit and at 33 I would hate to see him become another rosicky.

Verratta is a different player, there are not many players on the planet who can move the ball through midfield like caz.

doubt he plays this season
Arsenal knew, that Cazorla was in trouble before the season began and still decided they didn't need coverage. Yet another time, when they decided to roll the dice.

roll the dice to save the board some more dosh and not cut into their profits. Its clear arsenal and the board care more about money than the team and some suckers want this guy to sign an extension??? jokers
