Of course but if we were to win it, we wouldn't get the credit for that. It would be, 'They had a hard semi and final, but...' Hell we'll get it just for getting through to the next round if we beat Lincoln.
We don't get credit for anything full stop. The pundits and media love talking about us especially when we fail. I'd love us to smash Milwall in the final.

Smoking wasn't band because its addictive, its a known killer, that's why it was banned! Anyway, I said ban gambling ads.

Smoking is destructive as is alcohol, I do neither and I'm a picture if health..

My old China...

I like to gamble and it's never done me any harm

Look at the ads for Bet 365. Probably over the last 30 years I reckon . There was a Malaysian syndicate trying to match fix suburban football games in Victoria ffs . **** is deeply rooted .

It's a HUGE problem in the AFL mate - I don't know how closely you follow footy but Easton Wood recently spoke out about it and I think it's gaining traction. I've read of studies where kids know all the odds based on what team they follow - it's sickening.

Betting odds are every where, on the billboards at the 'G or Etihad, literally burning them into your retinas.

Yeah I follow AFL pretty closely being Victorian , by the time we were in year 11 some of the boys were already hanging at the TAB after a game of local footy betting on the horses ffs . Gambling a massive social problem .

And how's the celebrities they have pushing it ? They must have paid Sam Jackson a pretty penny to be the face of their ad campaign .

I remember in the 80s the government and relative relevant organizations were adamant that betting was insidious and was to remain heavily regulated including no chance of a super casino in GB, how did that work out? I remember also the the band standing to banish any form of advertising from kids tv 'programming', what happened there?

Gambling is a gateway drug!

i almost can't be bothered but anyway...

yes i know you were talking about banning gambling ads - i was agreeing with you...

smoking isn't 'banned' you can still legally buy cigarettes in newsagents etc - but the ADVERTISING of it is - and that is because it's addicitve AND bad for you - gambling similarly is addictive AND bad for you - becuase you can get into debt

that's why they are similar cases

I'm pleased you were bothered, and I'm pleased you agree with me :)

Sorry slightly off topic slightly, not sure where to post....

If a game is rescheduled and you cant make the new date can you generally get a refund?

that is my understanding - I have tickets for the home game against Sunderland which will be postponed if (when!) Arsenal get to the Cup semi-final, and have been assured I will get a refund if I want one
