Just wanted to take a sec to congratulate Clrnc on his impending title win. Been a pretty long building process, getting relegated in the process but reaping the rewards now. Well deserved.

Anyway, for next season:
- Currently have 14 teams
- Of those 14 we have 8 strongly active members (myself, clrnc, naz, Ron, mo, Rorz, Souf, and B-walrus)
- 3 semi-active (Freagle, Pikey, and G-eagle)
- 1 pretty much inactive (I-Owen)
- Smartly and Muharraqaqi were sacked by their boards

It'd be best to contract to at least 12 if not more (depending on the 3-semis). A league of 10 would be ideal imo, but 12 would work if we know the managers will be regular.

Thoughts/input welcome.

I would keep everyone + the 3 semi actives, leaving just 3 teams unmanaged. Ideally we should get as many as possible to make the league bigger, but honestly someone could just take over SD11 and we start the league again with minimal break

So, stay at 14 and hope we get three managers? I guess I'm OK with that (though I don't think we'll get three). And while I like the easy wins, getting injuries against the managerless teams pisses me off no end.

I'm ok either way. I realise that's no help at all.

E.g. this gem I got today (no injury, no form loss, no econ change, no point):

"No problems," he thinks as he tries to break the fall with his hands which he badly scrapes. The player will be able to play but his hands will be bandaged for a while.

I reckon a 10/12 team league would be better. The newbies don't seem to last very long and I'm a bit bored of playing managerless teams.

I feel the same way. A (potential) problem is that currently we have 12 active managers and if I started a new season the following teams would be canned: Muharraqawi and SDM11. I have no choice in the matter if we down-size. (Admittedly, though, both teams are getting long in the tooth). In fact, I'm not even sure we can go with 14?

Does anyone know when the change reports are due to come out?

^^Yeah, CR is in just under 5 hours. (It's always at 5AM, their time, one day after the season is said to end in the league info).

I'm looking forward to it. After it became clear Clrnc won the title 2 months ago I gave the young ones a run out consistently. Lots of 16 and 17's. The only disappointment is that one of my 29 yo's only managed a 9 due to injuries. Hopefully he won't be going down a level.

Eh, not a bad CR, but I am disappointed that I got no double-jumps (one player especially should be really close) and that my young forward didn't skill up despite having a DV of 15. Not bad, but not great. 7th place here we come!

Average CR for me as well. One double jump but a couple of players with no visible increases despite DVs of 15.

OK, so in light of naz's sudden departure and in an attempt to save this league from falling apart (further), I propose the following:

- 10 teams
- sack Owen and have me, clrnc, mo, Ron, Rorz, Souf, Mr. Walrus, Pikey, G-Eagle, and Freagle
- allow any of the above, if they want, to take over Naz FC, SDMXI or whoever

As it is, the system might be close to canning Freagle and G-Eagle for no-showing over a month. (Pikey is close to that too).

If none of this works, I'll just start banning people and/or giving them goofy ranks.

Yes, managers can shuffle but they need to make an application for a new team. I can't do much of anything about that.
