After our victorious tie in the CL it's back to the other comp we're heavily involved in. Looking forward to this :)

Phil Brown's bastards will be looking to rough us up as usual, need to hammer them good and proper

I really hope we cream them. We've got the form, we have the drive & desire after recent weeks and ofcourse we have our expanding grudge against Mr Orange.

Cesc to score a brace and to mock Phil B in his celebrations.

Confidence is high at the moment.

Added to this we have a viable option in midfield which allows Cesc to recover completely and two strikers on the scoresheet in the last two games.

However we need to be aware of what Hull represent and what they will do. They know exactly what it takes to get under our skins and wont hesitate.

Its not going to be an easy match, but once we settled in we can take this one.. and take it well.

PS: Another positive from the Porto match is that we scored before the elusive twenty minute mark yet again. Great for the belief.

Hull are difficult to beat at home but we should do them with this team..

Almunia
Sagna Silvestre Vermaelen Clichy
Nasri Denilson Diaby
Eboué Bendtner Arshavin

Too bad that Song is suspended for this one and Sol probably cant play this game.

Fairly tricky game. Got enough time to recover for the game though so I think we'll be alright.

in the form Nasri is in atm, there's no point risking Cesc if he's not 100%. I'd be happy with the same midfield three (Denilson in for Song)!

every game is important now, so it's important to refocus .. Still, I can't see us dropping points in this game. 0-3 Nasri, Arshavin and Theo

That looks good to me. And we can let Walcott come in to finnish them off when they tire in the second half. Let's score early though, just like tonight. Early early early!

Yep, would go with Bossa's lineup as well. Would normally play Rossa but looks like he might be injured, but if not, I'd prob still bench him as Eboue's been v impressive and don't want to risk Rossa.

Can't really see them whipping us with that line-up and can see us leaking a goal, I'll go for 3-1 with us killing them off at the death.

I know I'm not alone when I say this, but it had been a long time since I felt that the players were as pumped as I was before/during a game. Our mentality is just incredible right now and I finally feel like that's the case.

USArsenal (Administrator) on March 10th, 2010, 1:47 am

that's why he was taken off today.. think he got a knock on his knee

bojed (Trusted Member) on March 10th, 2010, 1:59 am

I don't care if we win or win big.

I just want Cesc or somebody to kick the ball in orange's face.

sagreig (Forum Member) on March 10th, 2010, 2:05 am

Rosicky has only finished one game this season. I think Eboue for Rosicky was a substitution decided before the game even started. I don't think he's injured.

Nasri's more of a concern. He picked up a knock in the first half. It can get worse overnight if his leg stiffens and I wouldn't be surprised if he was ruled out for the Hull game.

We really need Cesc to play in this. After all that went on last season between the two sides, it will be even more intense than the Stoke game.

I still hate this team more than most and would like us, at the least, to give it back to them physically.

I see us winning by a couple or so.

I'll repeat what I said prior to Stoke: three points, a clean sheet and a broken nose on Stephen Hunt would make this the best weekend in a long time.

Looking at the table we'll help Burnley out a fair bit too if we win. They're playing Wolves at home in a six pointer this upcoming weekend and will climb out of the relegation zone at Hull's expense if they win - provided we do the same.

A tenner on Saggy boy to score his 1st goal this season?
User avatar

albakos (Forum Member) on March 10th, 2010, 8:57 am

Hull are ***** and surely Permatan Brown will instruct them to kick us out of play under any circumstances. That's their only chance of getting something from us. Hopefully Nasri is OK, as he is great in holding the ball and does not give up on tough challenges.

If Nasri is fit, I say keep Cesc in bench so we don't risk him from hammy injury and after we win, Cesc to come out on the pitch and spit in that orange ****'s face.

4-1 for us. Bendtner(2), Walcott and Diaby.

Update: it looks like Nasri is OK, accordign to Philippe's twitter stream. He says Nasri only has a knock.
