Yeah and I suppose your mum can pick you up after the game and tell you that you are a good boy. Bruh grow up, yes racism exists and is disgusting, but seriously a grown man acting this butthurt? As I said my uncle drives cabs and is abused every night for $2oo, Ferdinand is getting paid how much? I dont see my uncle crying. He accepts the fairs and the abuse because he is proud of who he is and knows scum are scum. Cant be helped.

Do the handshake and then when the game is underway tackle that scumbag from behind and deck him and get in his face and let him know how low he is. Look at that picture of Anton looks like such a weak man. Should be standing proud.

How dense are these commentators? It's clear the ref was trying to even things out by not playing the advantage for Newcastle when they were breaking away.

Everton got robbed for 2 goals...first one from Fellaini was not offside and for second ball was over the line, feeling a bit sorry for them

We need more classic teams.
Bring back Leeds, we have no Yorkshire clubs in the EPL but we can have a f**king Welsh team.

Seems like you don't know how the league works. Teams are promoted based on merit. If they finish in the top two of the championship or win the playoffs, they're promoted. Something Leeds have to accomplish if they want to meet the top flight.

I love Swansea, how they play, their ownership structure, the fact they are a community club and the romance of their rise, but he does have a point.

Leeds, the Sheffield clubs,Pompey,Derby etc are from footballing hotbeds. It means more to the people there than it does at Reading or Fulham.

It would also be great for the game if the likes of Everton were title challengers once again. They might not have 2 billion facebook fans in Indonesia like Chelski, but clubs like that are huge.

lol, unbelievable refereeing. Clear Everton goal disallowed and a few seconds later the ref denies Ben Arfur a blatant decision.

We could of had Ba for 7m this summer.

Everton 2:2 NUFC
good result to us, but the ref is horrible, disallowing two good goals from everton.

I was worried about Fellaini when Everton play against Leeds next week in the Capital One Cup... but then I remembered Leeds had Rodolph Austin - a real beast.

But instead we got Giroud for 12mill so let's just hope he turns good.

I guess Pardew bought the ref like Fergie does...

I dont think it was horrible reffing on the offside and the goal line incident, they were both terribly hard calls and to blame the ref is a joke.

thedon5 (Forum Member) on September 18th, 2012, 8:47 am

Only reason people are making a scene is it happened to Everton both times, if it happened

Really liking the look of Everton this season. It's the start of the season and they are stronger than Liverpool, Spuds and Newcastle. I shudder to think of how strong they may end up being at the end of the season. Title challengers quite possibly.

Glad we didn't get that Mirallas fellow though, such a ballhog, his shot around the 80th minute I think it was just before he came off was poor, when he could've looked for someone to pass it to. I'm sure he'll score goals and be decent for Everton, but seems like he has a big ego.

What does everyone think of Ben Arfa? Technically looks really sharp, just think he never really grabs the game by the scruff of the neck and make things happen. But when he gets the ball he usually makes the right decision.

I thought Ben Arfa was sensational, a real top four player and I'm suprised Newcastle managed to keep hold of him.

It's not about pride, it's about the message. Racism is wrong and can't be tolerated, Anton Ferdinand being a public person does the right thing here.

However if this was on schoolyard level for example, I would agree with every point you make.

The refs must know in their gut when something is wrong. As soon as he saw the Everton players going mental he must have thought "Uh oh". Then Newcastle broke away kind of while Everton were still protesting and he thought "Sheeeeet" so he blew for the first mickey mouse offense possible to halt their attack.

Simples.

Best dribbler in the league and a joy to watch.

Don't want him anywhere near us though, after we got rid of two guys with huge egos, I don't want another one. Very prone to tantrums.

Tbf, one might argue Suarez and Terry aren't racists.

They're ethnic critics.

He is within his rights. The problem is twofold. Firstly he has missed the chance to show himself to be the bigger man. Secondly he is fueling the flames. The game doesn't need it.

Does'nt fuel anything racism should be treated harshly everywhere on footy pitch on the street everywhere.

Thats not a bigman move that would just mean antwon doing what the white man wants.By shaking hands he would be accepting racism this terry **** getting away with it.It would give the message to masses its ok to be racist we'll just shake on it after and ignore it.

Some strange comments in here who are you people?? I better stop before I go all Malcolm X,black Panther in here.

The English media seem to be of the opinion that the problem should be settled with the handshake.

How ironic. Who were the ones laughing when Sepp Blatter said exactly the same thing?

Anyone agree with me?
