Cardiff City's on-loan midfielder Jay Emmanuel-Thomas has hinted at a possible return to the Welsh capital next season.

The Arsenal youngster has made a positive impact at the Cardiff City Stadium since joining the promotion chasers in January.

He found the back of the net in Tuesday's 2-0 victory at Sheffield United, taking his tally to two goals from 12 appearances.

Emmanuel-Thomas will return to Arsenal in the summer, however, he is not ruling out Cardiff if they win promotion to England's top flight.

"It would be great to go back to Arsenal knowing I've played a part in helping a team get to the Premier League," he told the South Wales Echo.

"You never know what will happen but I could be back here next season.

"I don't know what the situation will be. My future at the moment though is with Arsenal."

I think JET really fancies himself to make it at Arsenal, hopefully he understands it might take him a couple of years.

A short film about the use of 'Yid' in football terms. Kieran Gibbs gets a short cameo. Didn't know where else to put it.

Wonder how they came to the decision to use Chuks in the picture. Did they scout Arsenal and decide he was the most exciting player or did they ask Arsenal?

Im guessing they ask someone how the best player for the Arsenal team going to the Dallas Cup and they said Chuks Aneke? Could of been YoungGuns im guessing. Or even ask Arsenal?

he played in the U17 WC and was probably the best player of the tournament
ran rings around FBs and CBs luckily couldn't do it against England

as for Aneke I think it might have been just luck.

I dont know we will have to wait and see. I think the only way Arsenal can play Barcelona will be in the final. Because Arsenal are in group A the winners of this group will play winners in Group D in the Semi final. Barcelona are in Group B and the winners of that group play winners of Group C in the other Semi final. Corinthians are in group C so they could meet Barcelona in the semis I think Corinthians won it last 2 times.

I don't think Barcelona will play Gerard Deulofeu in Dallas Cup.He is just too good.It will not be fair on the opposition.Barcelona's coaching staff are convinced that he will be the next superstar like Messi,Cristiano and Alexis Sanchez. He has had a contract with Nike since the age of 12.They think about giving him his debut in the senior team next season.
If Vela is right about Barca's squad, that means they will play with players born in 93 and 94 and two in 95.Dongou is a striker who has a phenomenal goalscoring record. He is born in 1995. We have a few born in 91 and 92. Let's hope that helps.

Did you know that Jon Miquel Toral is 191cm(6ft3) tall? He is a giant. When we bought him and I looked for information about him, people(younggunsblog) said that he was very tall but then I read somewhere that he was 180cm(5ft11) and I thought ooh this is nothing special.Him and Galindo(6ft3) could be bossing the midfield and the Premier League in 5 years like Petit and Vieira.

Another "boss" in the midfield that is already on his way up is Emmanuel Frimpong. The kid showed much promise before his season-ending injury. He will be a joy to watch in the future.

Besides, his twitter posts are fun to follow as well...

Vela (Forum Member) on April 15th, 2011, 9:27 am

Gerard Deulofeu is not in the Barcelona squad he could be in the Spain U19 squad so thats why he is not in Barcelona team going to the Dallas Cup. Or he could be part of the Barcelona B team, I know he has made his debut for them. If they took him its like Arsenal taking Jack Wilshere as he is still young enough to play but he wont as he is in the first team.

I expect Alban Bunjaku to be on the bench for the first game on the Sunday but as the next game is the day after on the Monday I expect he will feature in that game at somepoint. As the team will rotated a bit more im guessing as its 3 games in short period of time.

I never knew Jon Miquel Toral Harper was that tall? I think he will start in the U16s for first couple of matches then go in to the U18s. Galindo I expect will go out on loan in Spain again could be another team?

Emmanuel Frimpong I think will be a key player for Arsenal in the Dallas Cup/

A lot of our reserves are much taller than typical Wenger players.

Aneke, JET, Toral and Bartley are 6ft3ish. Lansbury, Ryo and Henderson are also around 6ft.

Thus, whenever we promote to the first team the chance of these players being completely outmuscled is a lot less than it used to be.

Vela (Forum Member) on April 15th, 2011, 12:19 pm

More height in the team in the next few years wont do any problems like people are saying. Does Bunjaku play best behind the striker?

Bartley is almost 6'4-6'5 but is Toral really 6'3
