To be fair Jay Simpson's skill set was pace and finishing. He didn't seem to have much else at all, which is a big reason he didn't make it.

You could tell he was not going to make it here IMO. Even when he scored them goals against Wigan. Now he on the bench at Hull I think.

@Younggunsblog
Look like Ignasi Miquel won't be going to the @DallasCup. The Spanish FA are demanding he joins their U19's for a tournament next week.
If this is true then I think Steven Smith from U18s will be his replacement. If he replaces him with a defender he might not though? Who will be Arsenal captain for the Dallas Cup then? Frimpong, Freeman, Henderson?

I bet that Barcelona´s squad is full off player´s that can be better than Wilshere

Thats what Guardiola said I dont believe there as good as Wilshere as they would be in the Barcelona first team. I know Thiago Alcantara playing a lot more now for Barcelona and he looks like a good player. I think Barcelona players in Spains U19s as well so im guessing they wont go to the Dallas Cup either.

Miquel out that's bad news, I guess Moneterio will come in for him
but this is now becoming an U18 team not the squad we wanted to take to US

Will Toral go with them ???

I would rather play Angha than Moneterio. Could play Hajrovic and Boateng at center backs then play Angha at right back or even Wynter at right back. Angha could play center back with Boateng then Hajrovic at right back.

Yeah Angha is a good prospect, I saw him against Liverpool at lb and he was as solid defending as he was going forward.

Toral wont be going to the dallas cup with Barcelona. Angha played well against Liverpool at left back the over month I saw the game as well. He can play CB, RB or LB I think.

I didn't realise he was only 13, I though he was closer to 15/16. At that age its best no one knows who he is. Let him get over kissing girls and the like first and when he realises its not just for going to the toilet with ha ha

I agree Enfield I dont think the person who said Arsenal had a 13 year old genuis should of said it in the first place.

same I will play Angha over Moneterio but I will pick Moneterio over Smith since he has more U18 experience
Angha - Boateng - Harjovic - Brisben-Hall
will be my choice.
Angha is a special case he got a heart of a Gooner, height of a CB, skills of a winger and voice of a 30yr old
All in all a perfect fullback in the making

I hope the following players will get a chance in the league cup next season:
Luke Freeman, Benik Afobe and Nicklas Bendtner

Bendtner will be gone and Freeman and Afobe will go on loan

Angha - Boateng - Harjovic - Brisben-Hall
Does not look that bad IMO. With Frimpong in front of them as well he will be helping out making tackles. If Freeman and Deacon are on the wing they both will track back they do it for the reserves. Miquel might go to the Dallas Cup @Younggunsblog not confirmed it all yet. Who do you think will captained if Miquel does not go then?

Don't want to be a tool, but it's George Brislen-Hall, a few people seem to be making the same mistake.

I know I copy it off jmsmtthw28 post earlier my bad sorry all. He got sent off against Aston Villa I think this season. Frimpong would do a job as captain.

I can't really blame Wellington for that, he just seems to be in a nightmare with Levante. Luckily for him he is only 18 and as such he can turn it all around. Just hope his loan spell next season is more fruitful.
