The other one is simply too long; this can be an interim thread before the new season.

EDIT: Now it's the season proper one.

The Championship will be very interesting next year.West Ham and Birmingham are clearly the favourites to bounce back immediately, with Middlesbrough(they ended well last season),Nottingham,Cardiff and Leeds also looking for an automatic promotion.Blackpool will probably struggle.Tight budget and so they will need to sell their best players,Adam first.Beside, they got promoted with a bit of luck in the 2009/10 season. It won't happen again.

That Lansbury pic is epic. There's a similar one of Song (vs. Chelsea I fink).

Wooo new thread

Owen showing he'd rather bask in reflective glory than prove anything and try to get his reputation and England career back.

Well,it would have happened sooner or later.Compared with Giggs who still offers great performances on the pitch sometimes,Scholes was past it.He was just psychopath who run all over the field.Just look at our game against you in the F.A Cup:the first thing he did when he came off the bench was trying to break Nasri's leg.

I don't feel sorry for the Hammers. Sam will have a great shot at getting them back up pretty quick. Its not like they were used to champagne football, but they were used to premier league football. The circus they have endured is too much, remember Sam got Bolton into Europe and was doing well at Blackburn before he got stabbed. They'll do fine if they stay off his back unlike the geordies

song (Lobby Member) on June 2nd, 2011, 10:34 am

when are we getting an off topic thread?

DutchWizard (Lobby Member) on June 2nd, 2011, 10:53 am

Ask the mods.

Vela (Forum Member) on June 2nd, 2011, 1:28 pm

So many players are going to leave West Ham.

song (Lobby Member) on June 2nd, 2011, 1:33 pm

doubt it will ever happen

Vela (Forum Member) on June 2nd, 2011, 1:34 pm

Most of the players are out of contract.

song (Lobby Member) on June 2nd, 2011, 1:37 pm

i wasn't talking about that

Bruza (Lobby Member) on June 2nd, 2011, 1:56 pm

Notorious Smitty (Lobby Member) on June 2nd, 2011, 6:13 pm

so hughes jumps ship @ fulham...
rumours of him going to villa...

with all the players apparently wanting out of villa, fulham will probably be better off next season than villa

Notorious Smitty (Lobby Member) on June 2nd, 2011, 6:18 pm

martin o'neil to fulham maybe?

looks like big sam took that west ham job a couple days too early

Lukic Love Child (Lobby Member) on June 2nd, 2011, 6:30 pm

LOL @ Hughes leaving Fulham, he's every bit the mercenary that half the players he signed are e.g. Ade-barn-door. I hate his smarmy little face and **** tactics, he will not make a top manager, just another Steve 'bent-nose perm-headed' Bruce. Cesc was right to call him a **** way back.

I've tried replying to this twice today and failed because my laptops bottling it more than Arsenal do. Basically, you're wrong and calling Paul Scholes a psychopath is hugely disrespectful.
