Couldn't care less about Scholes, the proper legends from manure are Giggs and VDS
gotta be fun seeing how their next GK turns out to be, manure's defence is good, though a bit overrated me thinks..

Vidic is possibly the best CB in the world. Rest of their defence isnt too impressive tbh

Ferdinand is a better defender than Vidic. You only need to look at the notably better results we've had upon Rio's return to fitness. Evra, when on form is the best left back in the league, pity he didn't seem to find that form this season. Once or twice only and in Rafael and Fabio we have two of the most exciting up and coming full backs in the world. Then we have Smalling who was immense in his first season at the club. Evans who has shown his ability which, much like Evra wasn't shown nenough this season. We've the best defence in the league, both in current ability and in future potential.

Not sure 'bout that, Clichy offers very little going forward.

Some lovely anecdotes I found over on Redcafe
On Gary Pallister
Pallister had the worst diet of anyone at the club and lived off chocolate and crisps.
I shared a room with Pally initially when we were away. being the youngster, it was my duty to pick up everything after him clothes, towels etc, run his bath water. Many was the ocassion that Pally was on his bed, totally naked, playing with his knob, pubes, and testicles, whilst flicking TV channels and eating Maltesers. He'd then look across whilst scratching his bolloocks and say "want one of these Lee?"
On Paul Gascoigne
"Gazza's nerves would start creeping in three days before a game. He'd get easily bored and restless and he was hyper. We were in this huge posh hotel in Hertfordshire, and he's going stir crazy. He's down stairs playing table tennis with the kids in the hotel, talking to anybody who will listen to him. Anyways, on the day of the match Graham taylor calls a players meeting at 11a.m. About 10.30a.m. Gazza goes down to the hotel kitchen and gets 3/4 loaves of bread. He walks out of the dining room and through a door that leads into the gardens, and down to a pond outside which had a resident family of ducks. He picks at the bread and starts feeding it to them in the pond. Then, he starts feeding them outside the pond and makes a trail of bread which leads back to the hotel. The Ducks leave the pond and begin to follow the trail. Gazza all the time laying the trail of bread. The Doorman at the hotel doesn't know what to make of this as Gazza leads the ducks through the main entrance with all the guests looking amazed at what they are seeing. He lays the trail up to the room where Taylor is about to begin his team talk. His jaw drops as in walks Gazza, still laying the bread trail and these ducks are following him round the table squaking and shitting as they go. The lads are absolutely rolling over laughing at him and Taylor yells at him telling him to stop pissing around and get them out of the place. Gazza fumes at Taylor and says "these ******' ducks are me mates right, leave 'em alone. Don't you be so nasty to them". The lads are in uproar and he eventually starts the bread trail back all the way back through the hotel and back down to the pond. When they get back down there, the ducks jump back in the pond. Gazza, wearing his full England tracksuit was not going to be outdone, so in he jumped with them - he didn't want to be without his new found friends! He's a lovely guy but totally ******* barmy!"!

FFP(Financial Fair Play) will start soon, and the fact will affect English clubs, especially the clubs like Chelsea and Manchester City this summer?. I mean, before FFP is carried out strictly, they will try harder to get world class players, spending more money in this summer?

Vidic is way better than Fergie's wife (Rio).
Ferdinand relies on Vidic or his partner. Vidic is the kind of player who will chop his arm off in order to prevent a goal.

I was just reading the main article on the homepage and it compared our league to La Liga and how we shouldn't be emulating Barcelona. We play 8 derby matches a year... compared to two.
Just wanted to clarify a list of our worst rivals in the EPL.
Spuds
ManUre
Chelsea
Stoke
Birmingham
ManchesterCity(esp with Adebayor)
Liverpool
Newcastle
Does this list look like a good order or have i misplaced something.

I can't seem to get over that Babel dive , also Michael Owen' 2 goals in the last 10 mins and Kuyt's late penalty just really got my blood boiling.
When was the last time we thrashed those lot. When we do beat them its always by 1 goal.

Evans was a member of the defence who set that clean sheet record a few years back (aged 20) when Ferdinand was absent. He has the ability to be a great defender. The death of his child had a massive effect on him this season which was reflected in his poor form.
Considering his age, he has been very good on average over the lasy few years. To put it into perspective. Evans is just 22-years-old and still has a lot to learn. Yet he’s still played for his country 24 times and has even captained them. No, Northern Ireland aren’t Italy or Spain, but that is still recognition of his ability.
What were world class defenders doing when they were Jonny’s age?
Vidic
Still playing for his first club, Red Star Belgrade, and had played for his country on 6 occasions (3 of those were friendlies).
Terry
Had just become a first team regular for the 6th best team in the country, Chelsea. Had yet to play for his country.
Cannavaro
Still playing for his first club, Napoli, and hadn’t played for his country.
Stam
Playing for Cambuur Leeuwarden and was relegated. Hadn’t played for his country.
Puyol
Had just been promoted to Barcelona’s first team from the Reserves and had yet to play for his country.

Nope not at all. Ferdinand doesn't need to perform last ditch tackles or diving headers because his positional sense is second to none. For that reason, he's a better defender than Vidic, but Vidic will get all the plaudits because his defensive work is more noticeable.

I always rated Ferdinand as a class player even before he joined United and he's only gotten better since. Of course he is also a first class t**t who thinks he is a lot smarter than he actually is.

Wrong.He's sh!t, 'cause he's old...
But honestly speaking, he was better a few years ago, when he didn't have all those injury woes etc...
