1. Would you take him back?

2. Do you think Wenger would take him back?

Personally I would take him back, only 28, still could have 4 years of quality service out of him. He knows the club and the premiership and could be that DM we are looking for, for nothing but a signing on fee.

Wenger may be a stumbling block though, I get the feeling he doesn't forgive and forget too well.

I wouldn't take him back because since his move to Milan he has developed a really poor injury record and has failed to cement himself in an ageing team. I don't think Wenger would take him back for these reasons plus the principle. What message does it send out to youngsters at our club if we let them leave after a brief stint and take them back if it doesn't work out for them? Also since some of the injuries he has picked up are serious and combined with a loss of form I doubt he could replicate the one good season with us.

I sense a demotion.

You cant just make threads about ex players....hell Im sure we have a thread for ex players. Whats stopping next guy making a thread about Adebayor, gallas, hleb or eboue? Like i said you can expect to get demoted as you clearly know you are breeching the rules and trying to act dumb.

There are very few players over the years who I would take back and Flamini is not one of them. A player has to reach a certain status ie Campbell, Henry, even Keown, they also have to leave on perfect terms for it to be acceptable. Flamini chose not to sign a new contract, so no way back.

In answer to the question. I'm not sure it depends on:

1. How good he is now? Probably nowhere near his prime
2. Do we want to compromise our integrity and take back a player who let us down? Whatever you say about Wenger, you can't dispute that he's a man of principle
3. How much wages would he command?

I think this is a valid thread on the basis that Flamini has just been released from his contract, therefore he will be looking for a new club. The media are bound to link him to us anyway.

In each forum there is a button near the top which says New Topic. Just click on that and and post away. Couple of guideline before posting new threads. First of all make sure there isn't a similar thread already open by checking through the forum as duplicate threads will be locked. Also make sure it's being posted in the correct forum as if not they will also get locked. Also do not post any threads for Lobby members unless it is a matchday or a match ratings thread. Any other types of threads posted in the lobby without confirmation from the Moderation team will be locked. In opeing a thread be sure to put some effort into the opening post. Threads opened with an opening post containing something like "Discuss" or "Go" will not be tolerated and will be locked on the spot even if there are 100 posts by then. This also goes for matchday threads. There is no need for essays or an RC8 style graphic intro (however they would be appreciated) but put in the little effort required to open up a thread otherwise it will be locked.
