lool at Chamakh plays ahead of Park. wenger is lucky park is a nice guy, most players would have called Wenger out in the media and insult him and call him a liar. The way he got him from Lille and the way he has treated him really makes me question Wenger as a man

jollygoodtime (Lobby Member) on August 11th, 2012, 12:16 am

Here is the goal.

he came on numerous times as a sub when we were behind, as far as i remember park only came on once as a sub. so you could argue that he might have made the difference if given the chance.

You are right. I was observing just how timid Park is today. He seems the type who won't make a fuss. The guy was given no opportunity. I still would prefer keeping him rather than selling him. He could be a decent backup. Sell Chamakh who clearly has never been nor is a goal scorer.

I remember looking up the minutes played each player had and Chamakh had over double the time Park had on the pitch. Considering how hard it was to see Chamakh, I think that shows exactly how neglected Park was.

Dolphins will rule the world before Chamakh ever scores a goal like that.

Really would like to know what is up with Wenger and Park. He deserves to have the game time ahead of chamakh while chamakh can go on smokin with qpr players and continuingly producing nothing. Ideal situation is Keep RVP, keep Park, sell Chamakh and this would be an almost perfect transfer market.

jollygoodtime (Lobby Member) on August 13th, 2012, 8:00 pm

He is definitely leaving. His agent said yesterday that Arsenal rejected a formal offer from a Bundesliga team. Also Celta Vigo of Spain wants to buy him but seems like Wenger wants 4 million euros for him which they can't afford. There is legitimate interest. Bridges have been burned, mostly by Arsène Wenger. Park will leave.

Archildo (Lobby Member) on August 13th, 2012, 10:53 pm

umm, why would arsenal reject offers if they are so inclined to unload him?

libero31 (Lobby Member) on August 13th, 2012, 11:12 pm

Probably the bid was too low.

galvenize (Lobby Member) on August 13th, 2012, 11:15 pm

I wonder if there will be an announcement on Park's departure on Arsenal.com

Awkward situation

harrrram (Lobby Member) on August 16th, 2012, 6:23 am

rumours say schalke and hoffenheim are in the lead to sign him on a loan

justin86 (Lobby Member) on August 17th, 2012, 8:54 pm

Getting your squad number dropped to number 30 has got to be humiliating, actually feel sorry for the guy

harrrram (Lobby Member) on August 18th, 2012, 12:32 am

They even got his name wrong!
it should be Ju Young, Park
but they put Ju, Young Park

Rami88 (Lobby Member) on August 18th, 2012, 2:15 am

I feel ashamed how of bad Arsenal are treating Park. He never mouthed off to the press like Sczcesney regarding lack of playing time and instead of being given a chance he is treated like ****. Outperformed Chamakh in every game they played together and also scores goals for fun for Country yet dross like Chamakh mysteriously stay above him in the pecking order.

Park must have banged Wengers daughter or something to receive this treatment.

I remember reading somewhere that he'd be joining the team this weekend.
He's probably on the plane right now.

Nope, he is still in Korea, trying to get a deal done to move to another team.

libero31 (Lobby Member) on August 18th, 2012, 3:26 am

Park is still in Korea. His agent is trying to find him a new team. His agent told Korean media that Park wants to stay in Europe but will reject lower leagues and Arsenal wants a fee of 4 million euros.

Dwangoon (Forum Member) on August 18th, 2012, 3:48 am

Wish him all the best.

I didn't know why Arsenal signed him in the first place. Not that he's all bad, but if we aren't gonna play him, why sign him?

Same goes to the many deadwood... one or two season or injury and mediocrity acceptable.

But Diaby and Djourou? And fug, no one ever mentions about the other doomed Denilson now? D = deadwood.

Squid too. And the 52k Bendtner. and irrelevant but quiet Chamakh.

So in conclusion, don't try to save a few million in transfer fee and get below average players.... it'll cost more.

The current 3 signings this season is still much better, we need 2 more similar quality or better.

I don't feel sorry for the for in the slightest. If **** like Chamakh gets in front of him then there must be something up in training, or something. And anyway, cutting means a squad space for someone better.

kruga (Lobby Member) on August 18th, 2012, 6:49 am

Something horrible likely happened for Wenger/Arsenal to treat him like this. Don't remember anybody else being treated like that. Hopefully he leaves soon and can start playing. Didn't look as bad as his minutes on the pitch indicate in the limited time he has played.

harrrram (Lobby Member) on August 19th, 2012, 4:14 am

Park's agent said Park has deals for him in Europe, from bundesliga and epl.
Deal to be finalised within the next week.

Archildo (Lobby Member) on August 22nd, 2012, 5:30 am

according to this article, PJY does NOT want to go to the middle east but Arsenal is pushing him to go there b/c then Wenger can recoup his transfer fee.

PJY wants to go to Celta Vigo in Spain, but they (Arsenal and Celta Vigo) are off by 1.5 to 2M euros, and Celta Vigo can't afford the difference.

Says, Arsenal asked Park to stay for 6 months. Specifically said '6 months' and leave in winter.

Arsenal are treating him like shiit. THey should be ashamed.

I think Park will be going to Fulham. With Dembele gone and Dempsey about to leave they will have money as well as spots in the squad
