TalentScout wrote:Good to see Wenger exploit the German league.
Arsenal and France as a nation been plagued with a diminishing French revolution of young talent who are not equipped to deal with the mental pressures and techincal side of the game anymore.
France has been a nation that exploited the weakness of physical endurance and strength in World Football by peaking to exceptional levels that saw them dominate through a chain of illustrious specimens with technical amplitude.
The game has since moved on to where the mind is now the focal point of winning games whereby players from all positions need to be creatively thought processing whilst dealing with extreme external demands from the crowd and media for example. The game has shaped into a philosophy where opponents are drawn into defeat by the possession of the opposition who will try to keep the ball for as long as possible creating a draining effect on concentration and mental fortitude which opens up gaping holes to be exploited.
The game has become more of a chess game than ever whereby the Germans have always been strong believers who carry out a regimental approach to winning football games spurred on in militaristic approach designed by stringent characters of the game and passed on through the generations. With this approach it's not hard to see why the Germans are the only nation who can keep up with the Spanish although it wouldn't be without their revolutionary adaption to the technical side of the game that has made them a nation who build world stars and will do so for the long term future.
Podolski & Eisfield could be a sign of things to come from Wenger who looks to shift his attention to more prominent factories of
required resources at the top level.
100% mate. German football has adopted and evolved and they consistently develop top players. Wenger also has a great strategy in place Mertesacker, Edinsfield, Poldoski, Gotze

can all goto their local German bar have stines of Becks eat frankfurters wear leaderseins and walk their German shepards together lol.
Honestly though wellwritten and sound logic

To be fair with the talent Germany is producing at the moment it's hardly surprising. We're also picking up a fair few spaniards.
Germany + Spain look to be a million miles ahead of the rest of europe.

Hmmmm, so our team next year will be like this:
------------WS/new GK
Sagna/Jenks Merte/Kos Verms Santos/Gibbs
Song/LeCoq Arteta/Ramsey Wilshere/Rosicky
Gerv/OX Walcott/Campbell Podolski/Ryo
RvP is good as gone imo with this early agreement, along with !!!CLEAR OUT SALE!!! Fabianski, Park, Chamakh, Squid, Almunia, Vela, Denilson, Bendtner, Arshavin. And half a dozen of youth/reserve players.
I am not trolling here, i genuinely believe this will happen judging from the past 5 years of Arsenal transfer policy.

ee wassup sal, old pal?
i think the signing of a german international in feb/march...shipping out shava in the process...will show robin that afc means business this time around.
early signings in summer and all of them will have an entire preseason to hit the ground running in august

Erm The Euros may have some impact on that.

Not on his own,
but perhaps as part of a package strategy that included a number of genuine senior & 1st team quality players to provide REAL depth & competition.

shoot...well fooking good point anzac. this could very well mean the fixture list could decide whether we are a title contender or battling for 4th again.
RE transfers the euros are a factor in terms of fees...so we better sign players to have their minds off of that during the tournament and to avoid the "hype" price tags

Which is why it makes sense to agree to deals in principle NOW,
rather than our usual want to wait until the dust settles etc.
The actual stumbling block in all of this may be the proviso that we can provide CL football.

Poldi & Co may be conditional on CL,
and RVP may be conditional on another summer upgrade of 3-5 players such as the likes of Podolski, Suarez, Biglia, Martin/Gourcuff, Giroud,
and the clearout of as many players from the senior team - Almunia, Fabianski, Squid, Denilson, Diaby, Vela, Bendtner.

speculation mate
podolski is currently not even playing cup football with köln. and all this alleged interest is from clubs either "just" qulifying for the CL every now and then or uefa cup teams...so he'll certainly not demand CL footy.
the clearout is long awaited and surely well on its way IMO...7 players out and 5 in last summer...with shava, almunia, vela, denilson, bendtner etc practically gone...we will sign players, whether promoting youngguns or signing players from other leagues. our squad will change its face for good.
if podolski is anything to go by...arsenal will step up big time

He's been on fire this season, netting 15 goals in 18 while playing in a wide forward position.

Djibril - intrigued by your profile pic/ avatar! looks like prince naseem hamed no?? but strange none the less..
Back to topic:
Podolski - I think he'd be a great signing (obviously as everyone else is saying not as RVP replacement!)
Matias Suarez - i think he looks really good - what are other peoples views on him? Looks creative, scores goals, quick!
Defender(s) - required; but who? Our best defending line up is pretty good; sagna, kos, verm - weakness is gibbs/ santos for me

Fvck Theo. Let him go to Spuds and get Hazard as his replacement. This will strengthen us and make them weak at the same time! Double strike.

Really not interested in podloski this would'nt be a great buy he's nowhere near arshavin level so not even an upgrade.
Our wings are covered we need the clear out of players.
Then its suarez and giroud is a must buy for me then its jurado or kovacic.

Hey Dj, how have you been and how's life treating you mate?
I have to agree with Anzac in his last post, no CL means no quality signings and no RvP. Which is what i'm predicting will happen.
Arsenal
Spuds
Chelsea
Liverpool
Newcastle
That's 5 clubs fighting for 2 places & if you take out Spuds spot its 4 teams over 1 spot.
Then you have many contributing factors in RvP's, Walcott's and Rosicky's contracts! We have a huge wage bill as everyone knows and if no one would be willing to buy our dead wood players we will not be able to offer those players & the incoming ones the wages they demand/deserve.
Arshavin only wants to leave for his beloved club and his price will go down for that reason whether we like it or not(just like Cesc). And many of those dead wood players we desperately want to get rid of are under contract with Arsenal and have every right to refuse moving for a worst salary and i predict many of those will remain here till their contracts end.
So simply put, we have to sell players to buy new ones and give our current players the wages they demand with their new contracts. and i don't see that happening even if we get 4th but if we don't its going to be much harder.
