I heard that when he hit her she flew over the bar.

He won't get charged for it, it was nothing but a swing and a miss.

C'mon guys, jokes about beating up women? Really?

As i said, it was nothing but a swing and a miss. Downing is assisting the police with their inquiries anyway.

Anyone else wondering what the handshake situation will be at Anfield?

Lies! He hasn't assisted anyone all season!

I think that both the Suarez and Terry situations were ludicrous. So many things are said on the football pitch or in the tunnel. Be it the F word, the d word, the n word, the s word, the w word or the x word. Insults ranging from "i shagged your wife in my car" to "I'll break your leg". I fail to see what makes the n word more emotionally and mentally damaging than all the other insults that occur in almost every game. Whilst players can get a 10 match ban or a court conviction for saying the n word, nothing of such measure is done about the other words or insults.

I pity the fool that brushes racism off so easily.

Mr Suarez tells Mr Evra the N word. Mr Suarez is banned for 10 games and fined thousands of GBP whilst Mr Evra happily and successfully plays the next game.

Mr Shawcross breaks Mr Ramsey's leg. Mr Ramsey is in hospital and rehabilitation in pain and agony for a year whilst Mr Shawcross is free to resume playing after a 3 game suspension.

Where's the rule of logic?

This needn't be brought up again, let's just put it to bed eh?

In an interview with a radio station in Uruguay Suarez said that there is a code that 'what happens on the pitch stays on the pitch' and suggested that Evra was wrong for making it known.

The guy is completely oblivious. A stain on English football.
