Mav - I think you're in the wrong thread :P

That Totti goal was something special. Utterly perfect technique.

Cringe every time I hear American commentators at work, their retarded screaming is so god awful it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

Also, not sure if it's been posted already, but still, the best video on youtube ever:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPWmjViwTOc

For full effect, turn the sound off the first time you watch the clip, and turn the commentary up for the second time.

He's such a brilliant striker of the ball, really is a top player.

Btw could somebody be so kind as to PM me explaining how to re-name video links like the one above? Would be much appreciated :)

The Henry goal is just pure confidence, technique, skill and strength for this goal aren't even that extraordinarily, most in our squad could pull that off but there are nearly none that will.

I don't know, the one where he flipped it up and lobbed the goalie as he was turning around is pretty extraordinary.

I liked the commentary on one of the Pires' goals: "Michel Johnson got a problem and the problem is called Robert Pires."

Beautiful goal, but I love the swagger in his celebration

Reyes tries to put his hand on his shoulder and he's like 'can't touch this'

Yeah Titi had always had a swag but somehow people confuse it with 'arrogance'.

Henry scored from a corner last night for the Red Bulls. Amateur goalkeeper, but awesome nonetheless.

Rafael van der Vaart goal (9/26/2012)

Impressive strike against Borussia Mönchengladbach. It's technically incredibly hard to hit it like that. Should be one of the contenders for Bundesliga goal of the season.

now, compilations of skills, tricks or any Cescy, i mean sexy football, give me all day.

Mav, I think you should watch this one.

This thread has no George Hagi it seems. Well, watch and learn about screamers.

That does define the word "screamer".
I still like this volley from a corner, the technique is amazing.

But dude... Hagi did that Jiranek shot 10 more times..

That Altintop goal is amazing though, like something from Winning Eleven 2010 ..

I agree, Hagi was a great goal scorer and there aren't many players who score so many great goals.

It's weird that so many screamers were scored by players that only did it once, the best example being the goal that Rose scored against us.
I don't think he has scored a goal anywhere near as good as that before or since, I think Bentley did something similar.

Who remembers that Jimmy floydd Hasselbaink strike in a 2-1 Arsenal win at Highbury back in 98? Didn't rise more than 12" off the ground, but stayed at that height for 25 yards, until it smashed the back of the net... Can't find a vid of it anywhere.
