Seems he's fine. Already trained with the Dutch national team today.

Already with the Dutch team? What a great news. Robin seems to be in form, so glad he is not injured!

Thanks mate.

I fancy Robin to put on a bit of a show against Australia, but I hope it's not too much of a battle in Macedonia, and I hope it isnt raining either, like the last time he was injured with his twisted knee, against Slovenia (I think).

Come back fit and firing Robin. A great season awaits you.

Uh oh. I seem to recall that the last time they played it wasn't very 'nice.'

I want to know how fast his shot was, the one that hit the bar against newcastle, must have been a bolter.

good luck with robin with against the aussies.

I'd rather Robin didn't play against us , some of the aussie can be tad ethusiastic in a challenge.

I've almost lost faith entirely in the guy's ability to complete a full season. He will get injured again in next few games.

It's annoying as he's the most talented player in the team, but I really think he needs replacing...

lets not wish an injury on him boys - its really starting to sound like that.

Few others did too. Guess it's just a precaution; Robin will participate in tonight's training session (source Dutch sportsnews).

Surprised nobody mentioned this, but Blackburn really are RvP's bitches. Has he ever played a game against them and not scored?

Glad to see him get a goal yesterday, as I'm sure most people are, but every time I see him down, I imagine Rosicky's face at the thought of his old mate joining him(knock on wood).

Yeah he loves scoring against them, they must be sick of the sight of him.

7 gooals v. BB in the past 5 years... not a bad record...

but more to the point, Adebayor loves scoring against Robbo... 10 goals scored against him so far in his career.. more than against any other keeper...

Speaking of Robinson

Ally on the Arseblog forums worked out that in 14 games against Paul Robinson we have scored a total of 46 goals.

I think RVP is just starting to arrive this season, so expect a lengthy injury anytime now.

Looking good, our Robin...but his free kicks have gone to ****...
User avatar

nazo (Elite Member) on September 14th, 2008, 7:27 pm

I loved that outside of the book random triple backflip pass (exaggerated) to Ade yesterday.

His freekicks really have been abysmal. It's like he's just kicking them as hard as he can and hopes for the best.

Interesting that van Persie said this:

"The manager wanted to use a certain amount but not the full £30m. But he has a principle and if he believes a player is worth £10m then he'll only pay that amount."

So we do actually have 30 M pounds. And it is Wenger who refuses to spend more than he feels like. People bashing Fiszman should, I feel, take note.
