Weak link. Downgrade on Theo. Would have already been here if Wenger wanted. Not happening.

More of a midtable signing. Makes sense for Spurs or Newcastle, even Liverpool but not for us.

Has always looked too flaky to me. I do think Arsène will be on the lookout for a striker now since all of RVP, Bendtner, Chamakh and Park are likely to leave. I hope Remy is not the answer but if you offer him instead of Chamakh for next season, I will be relatively happier

I suppose January the 2nd

I could've sworn he was still in his early 20's. Used to be touted as the new Henry back in the day.

I always thought Remy was pretty decent.

Not a major fan either in all honesty. Not better than Gervinho or Ox and nowhere near as clinical as Theo for me.

I'll echo the sentiment here. Not interested at all. I don't see how he improves us. Money better spent elsewhere.
Get Cazorla in, then any future money should be spent on defence.

He actually has as many goals as Theo in less than half the appearances...
I do think there are more pressing issues in the squad ATM, but I do like him as an option upfront. The current back ups just don't cut it for me.

Not someone that would make me jump for joy, but decent enough. Not a superb player but someone who can score from out wide, and we need that right now.
Wouldn't pay more than 12, 13 mil for him though, and Marseille are bound to demand more.

About 10 years after he was first linked to us.
Oh, the being-linked-with-Arsenal stories he and N'Zogbia will be able to swap one day.

Don't see it personally, combined with Theo would be serious pace in a front 3 but he isn't good enough. In his defence the boy can finish and dribble.

The question is, if he's playing wide - will he be a better option than what we already have?
Possible.....

Ah there we go. Wouldn't be a proper transfer window without us being linked to Loic Remy.

This season he featured in 14 Ligue 1 matches. Only 2 starts (both times subbed off) and 12 appearances as a sub. 427 minutes of playing time in total resulting in 1 goal and no assists.
Could a keen Ligue 1 follower explain why?

@FrenchFtWeekly: Was once told that Loic Remy was a huge Arsenal fan. Always asking Journos about AFC. Possibly why the move to Spurs failed last year #AFC

Arsenal make late move to land Loïc Rémy.
And they've linked us with Lucas Biglia as well. They should've just gone the whole sweep and added Keisuke Honda (with bonus Wenger 'genius' quote)as well. Dusting down the old linked-to-Arsenal files, eh?

Another run of the mill footballer. Seems realistic, since we are flooding ourselves with these.

Was hoping either Newcastle or Qpr would have just snapped him up.
Versitile, Meh and French- needless to say this is a done deal?

The Independent have absolutely no track on inside knowledge when it comes to transfers. I doubt this has any sound basis whatsoever.
