I see no one else using Ch5ls3a anymore, for what it's worth.....
Yeah, exactly. It's like something Spuds would do if they beat us!

also not to mention that it makes the forum harder to read. (same reason we dont like text language)
I don't think you have any trouble reading 5pud2 and it's not like text language is often used in other situations.
As for the small time notion some of you used in regards to 5pud2, I just don't see it. Why even use this argument when we all know how things stand in reality.
Frankly, and I'm not saying this in a disrespectful manner, we should all just mind of our own business because if we start to judge each other on the basis of how we write a certain word we should just pack the bags and go home. It's childish and unconstructive.

you may not have trouble reading it, but others who aren't so fluent in English might have issue with that.
conversely, i wouldn't care if it was an actual word (like Spuds, etc). 2 numbers and 3 letters dont make up a word. they make up a passcode
as a member of the forum (and not an Admin per se), i just think it looks stupid (that was my main comment on it).

i agree. we should be pressing from the outset. lets hope we brought our shooting boots and lets make sure that if we DO score, we dont have another monumental collapse like last season

Why is the game starting so late? Daylight savings? I'm going to be leaving the office as soon as this starts so I'll miss it through my commute

Just to make sure: This game is on in an hour and ten minutes and not ten minutes, right? Us Canadian folk lost an hour yesterday so I always get confused about game times when our time changes but the time in England hasn't changed yet.

Like the salty dry bread that turns into nasty stuff you try to rub off of your teeth when you finished a pack? I rather see a goal feast B-)

Think Newcastle will show us a lot of respect rather than going at us which will work in our favour.

I think it goes back to 18th century (or even further) where they wanted to reduce the consumption of candles/wax by making the day one hour longer.

Hm.....that's perhaps true, don't know, but I wanted to know why this process takes off in Europe three weeks later than in America?

Good line up. The best we can offer and think we'll have a solid bench.

Substitutes: Fabianski, Djourou, Santos, Ramsey, Benayoun, Gervinho, Chamakh.
Not bad bench too.

Gerv dropped for Ox, interesting decision.
Maybe Ox will drift inside a bit more often in order to offer us one more body there, in a crowded area.
Good line up nonetheless.

We're due to have a penalty for us. The last I can remember is Aston Villa pre-christmas.
I'll go by my previous bet.
2-0 for us
RvP (P) and Theo

From ESPN Gamecast: With Thomas Vermaelen, Arsenal concede an average of 0.94 goals per game. Without Vermaelen The Gunners concede 2.33 goals on average.

I'm actually a bit worried about this game, depends on the team sheet really.
I don't think we'll lose exactly I just think a hard fought win or a draw maybe on the cards, we'll see.
