Come on Vela, I know you're probably depressed and all, but jeeeez!

Can a mod delete this thread until Ferrari pulls his finger out and does it? We need the win here, and only a Ferrari special will do.

Demote Vela if we lose!!
Seriously, think we'll grind out a win here. Spurs will slip, all is rosy again. Kind of.

Ferrari was thrown out after his QPR thread failed. I made the City one, and we know what happened there. Don't know who did Wolves.
Ferrari's threads are like Rosicky, flashy badges and pirouettes but no end product.

I'm fearing that we've been to the well too often in these big games, and are due a loss. Arteta isaa massive blow. I'm not confident, and this thread can still be deleted.

My team:
- - - Back 5 - - -
- Song - Rosicky -
- - Benayoun - -
Theo - - - - - - Ox
- - - - RvP - - -
However, if Coquelin is 100% fit, then I'd start him alongside Song.

Ahh, right after what we've witnessed don't feel too confident, although i think with Kos and Verm playing Chelsea won't score.
1-0 for us maybe

**** Ferrari then, the loser. You'll have to do it Fabo. Or maybe Vela is the messiah, come to dig us out of the ****? I'm confused now. Just add a couple of badges, Vela, and we'll run with it

I do not have much hope for our next two games.
If we manage to get 2 points out of them i will be delighted.

With Arteta potentially out for this game, this will be close.
We should win but with our players you never know.
We can only hope Chelsea play worse than us.
Luiz is injured for them..he could have been an asset for us.
Ivanovic is suspended.
Mata will be a pain in the ass for us.
Ox, Rosicky and Song in midfield? Coquelin should be given a chance is he is fit.

Ramsey should be training with the U16s while this match goes on.

no point predicting this match now, lets wait and see what happens during their game against barca. That'll give us a better indicator of what to expect, don't know which one would be better for us though, for barca to stuff them thoroughly or for the chavs to get a lucky result.

Benayoun can't play remember because of the loan deal. Chelsea's game against Barcelona is on Wednesday.
Same team which beat AC Milan 3-0 at the Emirates IMO.

We'll need our full backs to actually get forward in this game. Sagna barely got forward once - was too scared of Moses.
Santos got forward but he came inside too much - it was bizarre. We had no width or ability to stretch Wigan because of these 2 factors.

I don't trust the Ox in midfield. He tried to do too much by himself and wind up usually turning the ball over.

I'm having horrid flashbacks of the 2-3 defeat to WBA in 2010 with Diaby-Song as our midfield base... I remember saying I never want to see that duo together ever again.
However, Ramsey may very well be THAT bad...

Not going to watch this due to personal duties this weekend, hope we somehow pull it off, although my confidence for this has taken a hit as soon as I read that Wenger fears Arteta's ankle problem might be a bad one.

Well you do it then Fabo . Chuck in gif or two , Diaby 'kicking racism out of football' gif seems to always lift the spirits.

So far we have a 100% win percentage when I have made the thread.
Albeit, only did one, but still.

I'm not confident without Arteta. Our midfield is haphazard without him. We were back to playing like we did during the days of Fabregas when he would be injured. Positionally all over the place, no authority or composure in the midfield and generally awful.

Oxlade is not a midfielder. Just because he can pick a pass, does not make it so. He takes too many touches, and is far too fond of the dribble, for him to play anywhere other than the flank.

Can you believe that I've missed every single Arsenal game since we lost to Milan in Italy, bar 3. Newcastle, QPR and Wigan. I will also miss the game against Chelsea.

Largely, work and studying. I missed all of the massive wins, from Milan and Tottenham, to Liverpool and Man City.

That's sad outie, but I think it's for the better because there's some sort of pattern here, re games you do watch and games we don't win.
