Yo i just got home from work, and just saw the game! F*CK*NG AMAZING!!! what a game, great goal!! I think my heart seriously stopped beating the moment we scored! Adebayor had me pulling my hair out at times, Fabregas played well but MOTM in my opinion had to be between Rosicky and Lehmann. Although our back four was awesome!! good thing I left this game recording im gonna watch it all night!

Ade did a fantastic job today, I've always said the guy's got potential so I'm not trying to justify something I've said in the past here, but if he hadn't scored that goal most people would have gone on about the chance he wasted when him & Eboue came up 2 against 1. His workrate would probably not even be mentioned so let's not get carried away.

Im quite surprised that lots of people picked Cesc as MOTM. This is about man of the match, not assist of the match. We pick MOTM based on performance the whole game, not just a moment of brilliance.

Jens. We won 1-0, and he saved two should've been goals. Granted one save was with his face, but his late save was amazing.

Gilberto another solid performance in the middle.

That left foot shot into the right corner of the goal, that's how Jens was beaten by Grosso at the World Cup. Never again! Jens is a warrior, he drives the team forward and is, with King Kolo, the rock of our defence.

My Man of the Match would probably be Kolo. Rosicky, Adebayor, Eboue -exept jumping under the ball to let the orange one in-, Fab and Bert were all huge today, but Kolo played injured, played alongside a 19yo in Djourou, and was still and absolute monster. He plays with his head and his heart, a master of his trade.

P.s did anyone else notice Baptista's style of running? Is it just his muscle bulk, but he seemed almost to lumber, like a man carrying too much weight. I think it was hard for him to pick up the pace of the game quickly, but he almost whipped in that vicious curler from the edge of the box.
