- I've absoultely no idea what to answer, but I guess this is the part where we all act the pessimistic Arsenal fan, so... Manchester City (A) ?

Any mid table/relegation fodder team that isn't one of the promoted guys will do, except for Wigan. They seem to like beating us at the Emirates.

Not the promoted guys since sometimes they bring something different to the table and surprise a few teams early on. Kinda like Blackpool, although we did pretty damn well when we played them early on I guess.

A home game against a promoted team please. I think we'll get an awkward team like Toon or Liverpool

would prefer a promoted team at home for the first game, especially since we wont have had any CL qualifiers to get our competitive feet wet yet, but I see an away mid-to-top half away game.. (Stoke or Everton or Liverpool)
