Eyes playing tricks on me. Almost thought it read Mido.

Anyone seen the guy play? We're weakest at the fullback position so I'm hoping we don't cut corners AGAIN.

I'd be mightily impressed if anyone here has seen him - he does ply his trade for Haras El Hodood.

Article said he'll be playing at the Euros though so hopefully get a glimpse of him there.

Yeah, very interesting quotes actually:

Milo wrote:"Arsenal officials have been following me since my participation in the Toulon tournament in 2009.

"And the English team got more interested in me after Toulon 2012 and I'm now waiting for their official letter.

"I will meet with the Haras Al Hodood officials before I leave with the Olympic squad on Thursday (to France for two warm-up matches) to understand their stance from this offer.

"I believe the Arsenal scouts will watch me closely at the London Olympics. My participation at London 2012 is what will determine my next step, and I hope to come to a European club."

Sounds like there is some genuine interest on our part.

Interesting a full back that primarily defends, that would be a novelty in our current setup.

Would be good to have the option of a more defensive full back on either side when the need arises.

We simply shouldn't need both full backs rampaging forward so often for us if our forwards and attack minded mids are doing their job.

Special talent permit.

We need more talented left/right backs joining us.

Saw a clip of a free kick he scored, alot of power in that left boot. Prefer Jean-Daniel Akpa-Akpro from toulouse though as he can play left and right and looks like frances answer to a young Lahm.

I'd be interested in Arsenal signing him (If he really is good) and pushing Santo's up to LW where he belongs really.

We could use a bit of Brazilian magic in our build up and attack and the guy has skills.

Let's be honest his defensive game is not that great.

Or someone from the UK named Christian May. :o

You do know that Ramadan is a month in the Islamic calendar?

Anyway, I really do not see the need for a fullback, despite the call for one from Arsenal fans. I quite like Jenkinson and Gibbs as backups.
