Apologies for the bump, but this guy had a post count of under 300, he never posted anything even vaguely interesting or provocative (he created this very thread!) and yet somehow got promoted from the lobby?

I'm all for new forum members - and there have been some great additions recently - but the process seems completely random in this case.

And then (credit too him if anything!) in a sublime twist of comedy brilliance, he demands to be demoted back into the lobby....

There are some quality posters dying a death in the lobby. It all seems a tad unfair.

Someone, somewhere, must be embarrassed. How did this happen?
