Ok boys, had a word with AntG, decided to get an Arsenal picture thread going again, basically for pictures of training in pre-season, videos from Arsenal.com or SkySports and what not (random YouTube ones not allowed), wallpapers, cool football gifs, you know the kind of thing.
I'll kick it off with some of my favourites from the recent training pictures:
The Guvna, Stevie Bould introducing the concept of a CB staying in the back line to a confused looking Djourou and Vermaelen

Mr Bould thinks he may have spotted an intruder...

Arsène recognises the figure and he thinks he may once have known him...

Arsène asking how said figure got into training with the Arsenal team...

Mr Jenkinson looking like he's about to start breakdancing.

This is just heart warming.

To the back of Diaby but further down the photo, M'Baye Niang is there.

Bould looks very strict. Probably very good for this squad.

Every time I see Djourou I think of this:

I met Djourou when he was Christmas shopping - possibly the nicest person you will ever meet.

Can't see why not. Compilations and/or highlight videos are considered "fair use" under US Copyright Law.

Why can't Arsenal FC has an official channel on youtube like Man city. Theirs are brilliant.

All, some of you need to understand that our Moderators are posters just like you, but who also happen to volunteer considerable amounts of their own time to keep this site running - for you. And that, for the most, they/we simply pass on and enforce directives. Moderators and their comments need to be afforded due respect, especially as they come from a place of greater knowledge/information and are designed, again, to ensure the smooth running of this site.
Accordingly, this moaning about and questioning of the decisions that have been made (not necessarily by us) and relayed to you, is not helpful nor appropriate, despite what some might think; this should have been enough for matter to be put to rest. Also, we have a pre-existing FAQ which covers this area, as was mentioned above.
For a variety of reasons, similar threads have seldom worked in The Lobby. It would be a shame, to say the least, if the same holds true here.

Agreed. It would help the club reach out to even more people and gain more fans as everyone uses Youtube but currently you need to pay and become a member to use Arsenal Player and get the same type of content City is supplying for free to its fans.
Having said that I wonder if City having an official channel on Youtube makes them more strict about other youtubers uploading City content (ie fan made videos and highlight packs) because I wouldnt want Arsenal to come in and stop people from making those awesome videos I spend countless hours watching.

what's with the training shirts that say statssport on them? Seems like only a few players are wearing them, and that they're wearing them over the regular fly emirates shirts.
Just strange to see as i can't recall us ever having multiple sponsors on our training shirts.
I thought they were training bibs...but what would be the point of having those that are literally the exact same as the shirt underneath?

Yes, many strikers who have met him would attest to that.

Statsports is a sports gps tracking company, so I'm pretty sure those bibs the players are wearing are saying how far the players have run during the training session, and maybe provides other statistical data too.
Every player doesn't need to wear it since they all pretty much do the same stuff. No point in purposefully accumulating a bunch of redundant data.

ahhh that makes perfect sense.
Should have looked up what the company was in the first place.
Thanks!
(If i was selected to wear one i'm not sure whether I'd try to work my ass off to look good in the stats or do literally nothing to see if they catch the anomaly)

That purple-horrendous away kit is still better than ManU's home kit.
