Well this one has happened pretty fast, no links or articles yet but Kyle has announced on twitter that he has left for Swansea. Sky have tweeted that the fee is believed to be £1 million.
Hope he does well at Swansea.

Think this move is good for him, at his age he needs to build up experience playing regularly. Good luck Kyle.

Didn't think he'd make it here, he's too slow for the way we defend - makes BFG look rapid.
Hopefully Squillaci is the next one gone and we sign Mbiwa.

Strange, considering Arsenal.com just interviewed him about being promoted to the first team...

Sounds like he wanted the move, wants first team football.
Either this or Wenger not being impressed with preseason?
Anwyay is good for us too, with Squillaci hopefully also gone, that means we aren't stacked on defenders, and can make a smart buy.

For a while, he looked like he had a genuine shot at making it here. I still think he has the tools to become at least a PL-standard defender but it's not going to happen at Arsenal. Probably a good move for all involved parties.

Never though't he'd make it here but wish him well, Miquel has a much higher ceiling.
Can Mbiwa play RB?

Just £1m? I imagine that we have all manner of bonus on there and the obvious sell on % or a buy-back clause?
Best of luck to him, I think he'l do well at Swansea.

Always knew in the back of my mind he wont make it here. Rumours of a good sell-on clause though. So good luck to him.

Sounds like an offer came in and Bartley is off after hearing of very restricted game time from his chat with Wenger.
It would have been a loan had a bid come for Miquel, that's for sure.

Swansea is a brilliant move for him. Was excellent when we won the FA Youth Cup but just couldn't cut it for the 1st team I suppose.

Not at the top of the list of players that needed shifting but, he's one of them, nonetheless. Looked crap every time I saw him.
Good luck to him.

I'm surprised with this.
Traitor

.
Best of luck, kyle. Don't forget to be tough when playing Utd. You know what I mean.

Well he grew up in Manchester, so he is probably a closet Manure or City fan.
For all I care, I just hope he does not have a blinder against us.

Why the hell have we sold him? I hope we have included some sort of buy back clause or something....

TV5, Koss the boss, BFG and Mangoman + Miquel, his gametime would be very limited, can't blame him for wanting guaranteed gametime and continuity at his age.

He's only young, we could have loaned him out. It was only a few months back that he was saying how delighted he was to have been promoted to Arsenal's first team, and now he's been sold for next to nothing.
This just doesn't make sense to me, he's always looked so talented whenever I've seen him.

I'd have liked to have seen him in the carling cup games up until january and then review but he obviously had a tough choice to make and chose to leave.
Did he ever play a competitive game for us? I don't think so.

I watched him quite recently in our reserve friendly against Dartford, and although a big lad, didn't impress much...looked far, far from a first team spot for us in my opinion.
Another of the project youth faction on his way, and a shame because he looked really good at a younger age.
Hope he does well.

I know its so random but I guess it comes down to playing time. I'm not upset, but its just out of now where.
I know we are short on CB if Squid is sold (hopefully!) but I still would like Miquel to get a loan move to a PL team. He has telent and needs games.

i diddnt think we'd sell him until next season. but if the opportunity came up for him/us/swansea- makes sense.
good luck to him, i think he'll have a decent career, we do just have too many players infront of him- sure they are partially rubbish ones who we dont want here either, but they are still infront of him.

That came out of nowhere. I never really saw him play for us - Guess I never will now. From being stoked to join the 1st team to being sold to Swansea in less than 3 weeks. Arsène clearing the decks.
Most here at AM seemed glad that he was getting a chance to play 1st team football-oh well, good luck young man.

Not so long ago many of us were expecting Kyle, Lansbury, JET, Frimpong etc. to be definite Arsenal first-teamers. However, none of them seem to be breaking through.
Although we do tend to overrate our youngsters, but could it also mean that base level of the first team keeps rising? In other words, could my mentioned youngsters break into our first team a few years ago?

£1M is such a derisory offer. I hope that's not including ad-ons!

You can be sure there is a number of add-ons, sell on %'s and maybe a buyback in there.
