With Arsenal facing a testing London battle against Crystal Palace tomorrow, @DanGaleaStJohn identifies the line-up he believes Arsene Wenger should select.

GK: Petr Cech

Wenger chose to stick with Ospina against Westham, and while he didn’t do anything wrong, Cech might have better marshaled the defense to cope with Carroll’s aerial threat. I think it is time to see Arsenal’s number 1 return to the side.

RB: Hector Bellerin

Bellerin has recently improved quite a bit and has been involved in quite a few goals too. I think that he is a vital part of the Arsenal squad and will be important if Arsenal are to emerge from this London Derby with three points.

CB: Laurent Koscielny

His goal against Westham means that he is the top scoring Arsenal defender in Premier League history. Kos also scored in this fixture last season, although it was the very first game of that season and now was a really long time ago.

CB: Gabriel Paulista

He was far from convincing against Westham, but I think that Wenger is trying to prepare him to be the Kos’s centreback partner for next season.

LB: Kieran Gibbs

Monreal suffered last week, and probably deserves a breather. Gibbs hasn’t played much all season, and will probably not go to the Euros in summer. I think he deserves some game time.

CDM: Francis Coquelin

Coquelin has recently admitted to being frustrated with Arsenal’s decline in the league, but also looks determined to put things right.

CM: Mohamed Elneny

Elneny has been phenomenal lately, his impressive rise will need to continue against Palace.

CAM: Mesut Ozil

Ozil is only 6 games away from reaching the assist record. His assists have dried up, but he still contributes a lot, and scored last time against West Ham.

RW: Alex Iwobi

He got two assists against Westham, but did not track back enough when Westham scored. He still has a lot to learn, but the signs are encouraging.

LW: Alexis Sanchez

He scored again against Westham as his form continues to get close to last years’, but he needs to track back better when the opposition are attacking.

ST: Danny Welbeck

He should definitely get the nod over Giroud. Welbeck works his socks off, and while he isn’t such a prolific goal scorer as yet, the signs he has been showing have all been promising.
